Harris Holiday Home Tour!

Come on in y'all!

This makes my second year participating in Jennifer's Holiday Housewalk

and I couldn't be more excited!

Thank You Jenn!

If you are popping in from Shabby Creek Cottage welcome!

Let's get this tour started!

Almost everyone pops in from the backdoor so what a perfect place to start.

I decorated my kitchen with fun blues and a touch of chevron.

Light and simple.

I try and leave my counter tops open for Christmas projects.

Using simple wreaths can jazz up anything.

Keeping with the colors, I added some fun to my antique bowl and scale.

Not a bad view when washing all those holiday dishes...

Speaking of dishes, let head over to the dining room..

I found these grey bowls while Christmas shopping and couldn't resist.

This room lets in so much light and I really need that during those winter months.

I tried to keep this room green and cheery.

This cloche just makes me smile.

And just in case you were wondering why...

It's the tiny bird cage tucked inside.

My boxwood lives here year round.

Our family room

I used dark browns, blues and golds in here.

Can you believe my tree is 14 years old!

I keep saying it's her last year but shes grown on us ;)

Wheat and pheasant feathers are tucked in with the fuzzy blues.

I think I have changed this little table out 10 times already ha!

Now it's full of gifts..for now.

Oh the mantel..

The ever changing mantel.

Hang around long enough and you will see what I mean LOL..

Simply Sweet.

This basket is full of years worth of postcards from around the world belonging to my Maw Maw.

The ever changing mantel.

I warned you..LOL

It has now become a joke in our family.

This wooden horse came from the first carousel in New Orleans.

It's an oldie!

Have you written your Christmas cards yet?

I'm working on mine soon.

Just a touch in every room makes me happy happy happy ;)

Although my tour is coming to an end, my decorating post will continue.

I do hope you stop back by for a visit soon.

It was so nice to have you over.

I hope you'll join me as we head on over to tour # 11

And don't worry if you are joining us a little late.

xoxo Susie

    1. Hi Di! Don't you just love Anne Sloan Paint! I tried using it for this piece but the stain just wanted to keep bleeding through. I had to go a different route to finish it. I would love to see yours!
