Coke.
It's my beverage of choice.
Not a very healthy choice I might add but my guilty pleasure.
For years now I have just thrown the caps and cartons away.
Never thinking twice about the reward points....
Until...
I found out that you can purchase your favorite magzines with them!
That's right.
Reward points equal free magazines!
Can you believe it!
An entire years subscription for just a few points each.
All you have to do is save the codes like this..
And enter them here...
It's that easy!
No, Coke didn't pay me a dime to say this...."shucks".
I just could not sleep another night knowing...
somewhere ...
Some sweet blog friend was trashing her points.
You can thank me later when you are enjoying your free magazines
while drinking a coke.
(Not responsible for loss of sleep nor cavities...ha)
Enjoy!
Susie~
I had no idea!!!! This is so great, thank you for passing this along!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe do the same thing, My hubby is a school teacher and you can imagine how many bottles are left in his room, we have tons of them and I get all my magazines for free and we have done other cool things also. Hope you are having a great week, we are covered in snow. Are you going to Blissdom?
ReplyDeleteCha Cha
My favourite drink is coke too but here in Greece we don't have "mycoke rewards" and I buy those magazines from stores they sell international press! That's not fair...:)
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited!!! Thanks for sharing! BTW, I went on a hunt for the Waverly paper plates & napkins you wrote about the other day, our Wal-Mart had them for $1!!
ReplyDeleteTake Care
Oh, I am one of those girls you were talking about. Just trashing my Coke boxes and never knowing the difference!!
ReplyDeleteThanks a million for the tip!!

My brother in law saved his and got a huge poster size picture blown up of my niece. It's a great program!! Too bad I drink Pepsi.:(
ReplyDeleteI never knew this! I always throw those codes in the trash! I won't anymore...thanks for letting us know. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info. I am signed up now...I drink a lot of Diet Coke, and no need wasting those points...catalog has some good items.
ReplyDeleteSheila
Hmmm, what if you're a Pepsi gal? Will have to investigate! Thank you for sharing. You're sweeter than a coke or a pepsi!
ReplyDeleteYour Friend,
Deborah
Oh my gravy! I'm so excited! I LOVE me some COKE! It's my little habit also...and I must have at least ONE a day!! Thank you so much for sharing this...I also LOVE magazines!! Yay! Can't wait to start racking up the points!
ReplyDeleteCoke (and sweet tea) is my drug of choice:) Not a good drug but it beats some others. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI have never saved mine but I will start right now. Do they come with the cans?
Thank you for posting this! We are big Coke drinkers (hate to admit it).But hey,if I can get magazines for free.I wish I'd known about this years ago.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Thanks for the info...I'll be linking to it as well!
ReplyDeleteOh mylanta...I'm such a cokeaholic...I'll be covered in magazines in no time at all. Thanks for the great info!
ReplyDeleteDebbie
Get out - how could I not have known. Just think of the hundreds - no - thousands of cartons I have recycled without saving the code. Makes me wonder what other goodies they offer for free....I'm off to find out. Thanks for the tip my friend.
ReplyDeleteNo way! What have I been doing~ Sleeping under a rock?
ReplyDeleteNevermore. My addiction will now work for me! :)
Oh my gosh, I had no idea! I'm a Diet Coke-Aholic, so it should take no time at all to get a subscription. Last time I was home in NOLA I noticed my mom had saved up *dozens* of caps. Maybe I'll ask her to donate. Thanks for the tip Susie!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDelete-Trish
My stay-a-home life has made me into a rewards point junkie!!! Darn I don't drink Coke. If only my dad were alive; his case a day habit would've got me some magazines right quick.
ReplyDeleteWow, With the amount of Diet Cokes I drink I will have a life time supply of magazines. Who knew?
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Sherry
Dearest Sista...
ReplyDeleteOh no what about Sonic? Ya know they are not gonna give ya a code when you go there to get your fix...That Sonic car hop is gonna have withdrawls from not seeing you. LOL
Funny, my brother in law is an avid coke point collector, to the point (haha) that he usually inherits the ones from my blessed diet coke boxes and bottles. Brother in law...you may have some competition, 'cause housebeautiful is calling my name! hahaha I had no idea what he'd been doing with them all this time!
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU! and to think I've been wanting to get Country Living, and I've thrown all those points away... Oh. well. :) Time to buy more Coke! :)
ReplyDeleteNow I am so upset I have wasted so many points already!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the information :)
You don't say...wow...thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm all over this. My colleagues drink a lot of coke at work so I'm now gonna snag up all of the containers before recycling them and utlize these for free mags.
ReplyDeleteWe've gotten some free mag. subscriptions and given a few as gifts with our points!
ReplyDeleteMy hubby is the Coke drinker in our house!
Wow thanks for the great information.
ReplyDeleteJeanette
I'm loving that can holder in your fridge - how cool is that!! And thanks fo the tip about the points - just got an email about Coke Rewards but didn't give it a thought, but will read it now.
ReplyDeleteCindy
I would be the one wasting my points. I'm as addicted to Diet Coke as you are to Coke. And I never got anything from my points...I usually had trouble loading them for some reason. That was over a year ago...might need to revisit it! : )
ReplyDeleteThanks for the motivation!
I have been using Diet Coke codes for over a year now...have received several magazine subscriptions including Country Living, Living, Fitness, etc. I have also been able to get free products from Snapfish. I have noticed recently that the codes are easier to read, too. I love getting free stuff for drinking my favorite that I would drink anyway!
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU! I always throw mine away!!!!!! I will now be plugging them in... my husband is a MAJOR coke drinker. his guilty pleasure as well:)
ReplyDeleteI just found this out recently too. I ordered my first magazine two weeks ago. I'm so excited because I am a coke-aholic and I had enough points in no time.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip!! I too am a soda addict!! :)
ReplyDeletehe he! I save the points for more Coke! ;) LOL!
ReplyDeleteI never knew. Thanks for sharing. By the way your sign that you made for me can be seen over at my post today and I did a link for others to find you. I get so many compliments on it and I love it so much. Thanks

OMG, thanks for sharing. I love coke and reading fabulous magazines. It is a win win for me.
ReplyDeleteThat's great news! I go through way more Diet Cokes than I should! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are an angel! I got to check if that is available here! Enjoy the wonderful day, Kellie xx
ReplyDeleteCoke has been doing this for years ... well 2 or 3 at least. The prizes (IMHO) used to be so much better. I have gotten several $100 Sephora gift cards, Chiefs football tickets, and of course many, many magazines with my points ... hey don't judge - I had other people give me caps and case labels for a long time, although I do drink way, way too much coke!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the insight, Susie! I'm a bit of diet coke addict...so I might as well be doing something useful with all those boxes and tops, huh?

I have been doing this for years now...We are big coca cola drinkers (non of the imitation stuff for us)! At work my co-workers have now started giving me their carton codes which amount to 18 pts each. I dont save 1 million points for a lousy Coke shirt instead I use all the points to feed my magazine addiction. I love getting Oprah, Martha Stewart, fashion mags and all the ones you listed above for FREE!!! It's great you gave readers the inside tip...never to late to start!
ReplyDeletewow, that is awesome! favorite drink and favorite magazines!! Too bad I am a Pepsi loyalist! :)
ReplyDeleteTHis is my favorite drink, too. I can't believe I have been throwing away all those precious points. I could have had hundreds of beautiful magazines to enjoy with my drink of choice.
ReplyDeleteRuth
In the immortal words of Stacy London...'Shut UP!'. That's FABULOUS! The internal struggle to deny myself 'The Great Black Liquid' (as my husband and I named it) has one more hit. :) I have been missing my Southern Living...
