Our painted cottage...

Did y'all hear some squealing'...no,it wasn't my husband cheering for the "Hogs" ,it was Madison and I getting a look at our new place. Can you believe it!

If the fumes would not have been so bad I think we would have wanted to spend the night in here and just giggle...oh and not to mention it is 110 degrees.

I think my husband thinks it's too funny that I'm this excited about my new place. I think he is excited because soon we will once again be able to eat as a family at the kitchen table. My painting was just taking over the entire house.

See...I'm just thinking about the family I told him. Hehe...

But wait! Oh my Lordie! Would you get a look at that floor. That would be our next step...BIG SMILES on this one! See you soon~
ps...please keep those names coming! We love em"

I love that ceiling! It's over a 100 degrees here, too. It makes me cringe even thinking about doing any sort of painting or remodeling in this heat. Good luck with everything! I can't wait to see the pictures.

you could name it 'rest' or 'rester' in French...I like the letter "R"....I can see some sort of muslin flag with a big scrolly "R" and a really neat border around it hanging outside~

how fun this is for us all!

Oh wow,
there is paint up already!! Hmm, you been holding out. I bet it's closer to being done than we think. I can't wait to see how you do the inside. You thinking about putting down a floor warming system since it's outside? Wouldn't that be nice? You could keep your tootsies toasty while winter is outside...wait, do you get winter? I can't remember where you live.

What a great space you're going to have when it's done. I know all about painting on can goods throughout the kitchen, breakfast room, and dining room! I could always tell when it was time to go to the store! It's one of the reasons I'm glad we are going back to vinyl only. Twin and I also sell at a local craft mall and we keep getting orders for our signs but I am so done with them. In Illinois we also have the humidity to contend with, not a good thing.

I'm sure it will be gorgeous when you're done!

I'd be squealing too! This is going to be fabulous! I'm so jealous (not that I'd be doing any crafting in it-I just want to have a play house). Is your husband from Arkansas, or did he go to the University of Ark., or do you really have hogs? laurie
