The wire conservatory...

I found this conservatory at the Red Door in Baton Rouge. I left the store smiling...

Not only did I get it for a song...a 12.00 dollar song..It has so may possibilty's..

I was going to put this ivy in but it was a bit to tall.. maybe a new pot...

I then tried filling it with clay pots and moss covered balls

On top of cabinet? Maybe a bit too much..

Then I filled it full of magazines..

Towels maybe? I really liked this one..

(shameless plug for tassels).. It even looks great with my tassels hanging from them!

another shameless plug, sorry....Oh the possibilty's of this little wire conservatory.

Although I thought you were going to say you put the dog in it after the first pic. :-)

I really like the magazines in it, too. You can just change it around when you need something different. What a steal at $12!

I thought the same thing Kimba did...what a fancy schmancy kennel! :)

Actually, I think my fave was the towel idea. Very pretty.

I love the conservatory and I would have a hard time picking just one of these ideas. And there's nothing wrong with shameless plugs among friends. LOL

My personal favorite use is the magazine holder. That will definitely be a conversation piece no matter where you put it! :)

Oh, I see I missed some drama...so glad you are still posting & not giving up on your blog. That would be tragic! I'm so sorry you got your feelings hurt, unfortunately that is sometimes part of being out there.

Thank you, Susie! I'm did a post last week about this pet peeve of mine (and a lot of others) and hope that other bloggers will follow suit & stop the letter verification. It's just not necessary. You can always do comment moderation, WITHOUT the letter thing.

Thanks so much!

Why do I never find these things? lol I simply must expand my shopping past the ONE store I seem to frequent. But I'm happy that if it couldn't be me toting it home that someone who obviously knows what to do with it got it! I can't wait to see how you decorate it with harvest and holiday decorations, I know you'll come up with something fabulous!
P.S. Love your little doggie, what a cutie pie!

Oh, how cute. That is a steal!! We will probably be going to Baton Rouge sometime this summer to take the kids to that Blue Bayou. I will have to check out this Red Door. We really don't have anything like that around here. Although, I do like The Mill in Canton.
Blessings,
Trixi

So many ideas! I would choose the towels. How about a vignette of printed towels with tassels. Damask or Jacquard for a Parisian design. If you couldn't find one to match just take a coordinating fabric and, create a boarder to an existing towel. Your banner fabric would be ideal for a vintage retro look. The finishing touch... wrap each rolled towel with a matching tassel to fit your theme. Starting with that fabulous Rooster! I'll take mine with a Red checkered towel please...lol

DITTO to Kimba's comment! I was going to vote for the towels with the tassel!! And you'd better plug that talent of yours! It's a gift and I'm looking forward to ordering some!
