Vintage Name Signs...

Madison has two teachers this year. God Bless Them!

They are giving my daughter a gift that she will cherish for the rest of her life....an education. God Bless Them!

I have to be honest here... I have trouble just getting her to sit still for homework and yet these two Women can teach a class of many. God Bless them!
So what can this Mommy give back? Gifts from the heart!

Handmade that is! {Vintage Key Name Signs now available in Shop}

I also made a few new pieces for the shop. Simplify....

What a wonderful word to live by~

I must say I love the vintage name signs and when I saw the name Babineaux I immediately told myself...She either lives in Louisiana or is orginally from here. I as a resident myself feel the same way you do about our wonderful state and home.

Thoughtful mommy!! :) My mom was so excited when she came back to her classroom (she teaches 2nd) and found that one of the moms had the students decorate a banner for her before Orientation Day had even started. I helped her hang it on the wall right away. :)

Your sweetie-pie's teacher is going to be so blessed! :)

One of the most important things a parent can do is support their child's teacher. Thanks for taking a stand for educators. Love the new header.

Susie,
I love these! Very cool..and unique.
I am still trying to figure out how to do that project I emailed you about. My creative juices aren't flowing as well as yours are.
The pillow on my banner was made by Jodi from Simplythisthatandtheother blog. She was gracious enough to let me use her photo. How sweet is that? She also was featured on Moda Bakeshop. The tutorial is there on how to make the pillows.

These are just beautiful.

I must tell you--my 16-year-old son was flipping through the Pottery Barn catalog the other day. He came upon the typewriter alphabet art, and he said, "Now this is really cool." You can't imagine how cool I felt when I said, "Oh, I've seen that. . . one of my favorite bloggers made one of those."

Way to go, girl!

P.S. I'm doing a giveaway at Imparting Grace--stop by if you get a chance. I think you'd like what I'm giving away! I learned a valuable lesson, and I'm sharing my new-found wisdom. :)
