Farewell craftshows...it's been fun!

Im giving thanks today for many reasons. This weekend was my last craft show and for that I am thankful! After many years of trying to get my booth to look just right I finally succeeded. For that I was thankful! So many of the vendors that I have met are now great friends. For that I am thankful! I now look forward to throwing that old Ez-up tent away. For that I am VERY thankful! One of the greatest things about blogging is when you get to meet some of your friends. This weekend meeting a few new friends ranked at the top of my list. I had the joy of painting a few signs for Miss Heather and was able to meet her and her two adorable girls.I also had the pleasure to meet up with  Sweet Miss Bobbie from 40shadesofpink. I just thought I was short,Ha! She is just as pretty as she is tall~ I also enjoyed chatting with Marty. She is going to show us how to use a very neat paint product. I cant wait to share more of that with all of you soon. Get your brushes ready! Friends....for they make me thankful! Now what do you do when it starts getting late and the crowd fades? You squish your tushies together in one chair and take funny pictures with your sister. Why is it in every picture she looked like a model and I looked like I had gopher teeth?....I love her to the moon and back...(for her I am thankful)!Want a little preview of our next DIY?

Any guesses? Do you have your roses ready?

  2. Yeahhhh!! Isn't that a great feeling? It was sooo much work, the time, the set up the prep work the week before, the day of and your whole family soon learns to avoid you like you've got a flu or something. But not anymore for me either, well for some time that is. AND yes, how thankful you are!!! Yippie skippie doo! Congrats now enjoy the holidays!

  25. Susie- It was a pleasure to meet you and your sister, and I am very happy to have met you while still doing craft shows!

I thought of you on Saturday in the cold rain! I hope you had a really great show. I really enjoyed seeing your talent and cute things.

I work in the Perkins/Highland area, which I know you frequent. We will plan to run into each other at Royal Standard one lunch time.

Which, by the way, today they must have been having a massive sale, the cars were parked out of the parking lot and onto the grass there was so many!

Looking forward to keeping in touch!

  31. Oh that's so sad...
I said goodbye to craft shows a few years ago because I had too much business... but I loved going and listening to everyone ew and ah over everthing. It made ALL that work so worth it. I still have seasons when I'm not so busy and I think "gee, I should do a show again." then I get slammed... God's blessings. :) I'm happy for you (and a little sad for you too). :)

All that hard work paid off girl!

Love those stocking. I am offically retiring my old stockings and making a version of these. Love them!

Hope you didn't have to drag too much stuff home with you. I'd be suprised if it all didn't sell.

    Nice work sister!
