Thanks to you Susie I asked last night while I was in Lowe's for "branches"- the guy was more than helpful, offering to load more & more into my cart. I can't believe they don't make wreaths out of them there, but their loss is our gain!!! ;)

Every year I find new ways to use the branches we cut off the bottom of our tree (we don't have very high ceilings). This year is the year of the wreath. I think I'm going to light mine and hang it from the kitchen window!

I just love your puppy (Iday puppy- it doesn't matter if the dog is 12, it's still a 'puppy' ;)!! ) Mine looks just like yours(also a choc lab) and he is getting some pretty cute freckles on his nose!

Too funny. I went out last night and bought me some floral wire from Michaels. I am going to make one too using a coat hanger! Since I am in the middle of many projects I will make my wreath this weekend and post next week. BUT I had to comment on your dog. We have the same - he looks just like him! His name is Henry and he is such a sweetheart (except he steals food!)
