Monogram Pumpkin DIY

Today my "middle one" turns 21.

She is the "me" I wanted to be.

She is my world.

So I made her goofy gift to hang on her front door.

And just in case you want to make one too...

Here ya go~

I started with a sheet of thin lauane.

It's a very smooth wood and will give you a great surface to work on.

You can find it in the pre cut center at Home Depot.

I drew out a pumpkin and traced it on to the wood.

Using my jig saw, I cut the pumpkin out and sanded the edges.

Craft paint..

Now for the tricky part..

I love Chevron but painting it is a bear.

I drew out a pattern on my the same pumpkin I had drawn earlier.

I traced it onto my wooden cutout and painted it on top of my orange coat.

I used a foam brush.

This will help you keep your lines straight.

I painted the stem a fun green and added a jute hanger.

The burlap bow just tops it off don't ya think?

So sweet!

Because this is not an outdoor wood, I would recommend hanging it indoors or under cover outside.

Kaylee has a front porch so hers should be fine.

I may to make one for myself now.

Now I must go and  digest the fact that my first girl is 21.

Oh boy!

  6. First and foremost, let’s get one thing straight: Bandage Dresses“There’s an incorrect assumption about Herve that it’s only for evening,”Herve Leger Dresses Lubov told me up on the 18th floor of her Oktoberfest Costumes Times Square showroom and headquarters. “It can be worn anytime! People also assume that it should fit really tight, but personally I wear it one size bigger because I like the comfort of it while still getting the silhouette.”Nun Costumes These are the dresses that are coming into our stores and online now, and these are the dresses that are going to show up come Saturday, because as we pointed out in our runway report last season, an Herve Leger show is full of Herve Leger dresses.

  7. Aw, this was a really nice post. In idea I would like to put in writing like this additionally – taking time and actual effort to make a very good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and by no means seem to get something done.

  8. The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought you have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.
