Coke Crate Paint Cubby

When you pick painting as a profession, it piles up on you.

Before you know it, it consumes your world.

I'm a visual person and just looking at paint colors

fuels my fire for inspiration.

Before last night, my paint bottles were tucked away in a plastic bin.

 Unseen and forgotten.

Not a spark for inspiration in sight.

Till I met Meg...

Ya'll. She Rocks!

My words won't do her justice so I will just let you visit and fall in love.

She posted a coke crate holding her paints and I just had to...too :)

Marc came home from work last night and it was raining hard.

I gave him a minute to change out of his dress clothes then I hit him up.

He didn't even groan this time!

Progress ladies ;)

So he hung two of these lil darlings up for me and now I'm all kinda inspired!

I even cleaned out and pitched 1/2 of them away.

Now I have a new love for my stash.

Thank you Meg for inspiring my socks off.

And thank you hunny for tromping in the rain to fetch my coke crates and hang em.

You are the best hunny a crafty gal could ask for!

  1. What a creative way to store your paint. I am the kind of person who has to have her "stuff" out to be creative. If I put it up, it's our of mind. Great idea!

  2. I love this idea! Thanks so much for sharing Susie! Now I'm off to dig through the "junkroom" for some crates! {HUGS}

  3. Don't know if you know this about me or not, but, I am a die-hard Coca Cola fanatic! I even have a big Coke container in my back yard that I fill with flowers in the summer. Those look really cute on your wall. A friend gave me one and I made a Fairy Garden out of it.

    Cute, cute, cute.

  4. I love your crates, but I think I love your curtain fabric even more! So pretty!

  5. What a wonderfully neat idea!!!!
    Thanks for sharing!!!

  6. Love the Coke crates. I have a similar storage system in my studio/hobby room. I don't have cool Coke crates but I did find some rustic wood cubbies at a yard sale and store my paints in a similar fashion.

  7. Love this. so easy and yet so very practical with a great visual display.

  8. I love that you found Meg. She has a lot of great ideas. I have been following her for quite some time, and it really makes me want to go back to Kansas to the Barn antique place where she takes her craft weekend ladies. SO FUN!!!

  9. What a great storage solution.

  10. What a fabulous idea! I love it.

  11. Hey girl! I love that idea! I need to find me some Coke crates! My stash is overflowin' and it's driving me crazy! :) Hope y'all had a good Christmas...I'm off to catch up on your blog. :)

  12. I love this idea, Susie! I had several of these but gave them away because I didn't know what to do with them! UGH... I'm all for easy storage solutions!

  13. Speaking of just adding your favorite jacket, Bandage Dress Lubov almost always wears Herve Leger separates.Perhaps because of Herve Leger Replica how we show our pieces, or just the assumed way of Herve Leger, Oktoberfest outfit people tend to wear our collections together, as one piece. But I like them as separates; it’s almost cooler,” she says. “I would put this jacket with a pair of jeans or a work skirt. And of course it all Animal Costumes but if you’re in L.A., you just wear the skirt with a T-shirt. The great thing about Herve separates is that it adds high fashion glamour to any number of basic pieces you already own.”depends on where you live,

  14. Spot on with this write-up, I truly think this website needs much more consideration. I’ll probably be again to read much more, thanks for that info.
