A New Year!

It's a New Year!

A time for new beginnings and fresh starts.

Thank you Lord for new beginnings.

This year I'm getting out of my safe zone.

Decorating and colors that is.

Here are a just a few things I will add to my office/workspace.

Yes, I'm already hyperventilating just looking at the colors. Ha!

Speaking of colors, I have teamed up with Martha and Home Depot.

I have a new playground of paint!

I can't wait to share some fun new projects soon.

Here is just a smidge of what I'm working on now.

My closet.

My very small workspace closet.

The one where my husband held his breath while I ripped the doors off and yanked the shelves out of.

He's a good man.

Just held his breath.

I won't lie. I did too.

I have to make this one good.

Nothing like making my Man proud ;)

(Insert Tim the Tool man grunts).

But before I go and tackle this new year..

Laundry waits for no man!

Do you have some special projects for the New Year?

xo Susie

  1. Love the colors!!
I stepped out of my box for Christmas and machine embroidered my
Christmas cards. I was so pleased with the results that I am going to stitch all of my cards from now on. Birthday, Valentine's Day, Easter...everyone!! Fun stuff!

  4. I love the colors! I'm kind of a classic, black, white, gray kind of girl, but life just needs some vibrancy sometimes, and I think you found the perfect colors for it!

  9. You always have the most darling ideas. I have quite a list on my plate for 2012..but #1 --> to sell my home and buy a bigger home for my growing family. But along with selling my home...I need to prep it for the sell. So much to do...and yet I find it all fun.

    Cheers~

  10. Gotta love good men who encourage and tolerate our projects even when we are not totally sure of the direction we are going in. It would be fun to play with those Martha Stewart paints.
I just posted about makeover plans for our basement guest suite that has been long overdue while I pondered what to do. Patched and walls cleaned today and I'm going to buy paint tonight or tomorrow.

  16. I know whatever you do will be fabulous! My main project is to get rid of our sofa and pare down the furniture in our living room. It's just a monstrosity that's falling apart and even slipcovering won't help it. We have a smaller love seat I can't WAIT to get my hands on to slipcover. Other than that, just tassel, tassel, tassel! Just sold my first one to Australia! Woot! :)
