Operation Take Down

If you have watched the above video and are still here...

You get it... :)

You understand what it's like to feel the need to DIY

or you may just enjoy watching someone make a complete fool out of herself.

Whatever the reason ....Welcome!

My first plan of action was to rid myself of those post.

Like how hard can it be?

Like cuttin' butter ;)

It was pretty fun!

Up for another video?

My sister Missy, the other voice you were hearing, is helping me.

She is always there to offer advice and wisdom.

Oh...and goggles :)

She has no idea how much I adore her and have always looked up to her.

She gets me and I get her.

Guess that's why the Lord made us Sisters.

to be cont.

  1. Girl!! You are courageous! This reminds me of my blog of Hubs cutting down the big tree in our yard a couple of weeks ago!! You go girl!

Are you using what's left of your headboard as a base for your new linen covered headboard? I bet whatever you do, it will be beautiful!!

    Can't wait to see!

  2. Thanks Mrs. Judy! I am using the rest for a base :) I hope..hehe

  8. Susie, ya'll are cracking me up, girl!! OK, so I have to ask?? Why in the world did you ruin that bed? Why didn't you just cut some plywood and upholster that? I'm so afraid you will be sorry you cut those posters down one day. It was a really pretty bed!! I know you'll get what you want soon. My sister wants an upholstered headboard too & I think we are going to tackle a DIY version soon.

  9. Susie Q, you had me frightened when I saw you with that power tool and no goggles! Girl, rule number one.....safety first always!
Looking forward to seeing what you are up to and why you were cutting those posts off.

  10. And THAT Miss Susie, is why I love you and your sister! It is something silly that me and my sisters would do together. And then we would laugh until we almost peed our pants. I can't wait to see what you do with it.
