On with the tour!

As promised from this post....

I am honored to guide you through one of the most beautiful homes I've seen!

I will try not to ramble on too much and just let this beauty speak for itself.

Look very close...

on the table...

Are those pumpkins not to die for?!

If I could jump in right here please...
Are you loving her pops of color?

Yeah, me too!

I love how she placed her desk behind the sofa.

Oh sooo classy and sleek.

I think I would never leave that desk!

Computer, TV ahead and those windows surrounding the room....heaven I tell ya!

Adorably sweet!

If I were to leave that desk....

You could always find me here below.

I'm such a lover of reading nooks!

Can we have a moment of silence please?

Lets recap here.

If you could not find me at her desk or reading nook...

You could just hang the phone up. Call me quits. I'm unable to be reached.

This is where I would be!

Oh sweet Bertha of Baths!

This baby takes the cake and eats it too!!!!

Her basement, as she calls it...

has more style, class, and beauty than I can take in.

Gone are the days of musty dark basements with spiders and boxes.

This home is my little/big girl dream house!

I hope you enjoyed the tour.

Please join me in thanking our sweet friend for allowing us a peek inside.

I'm hoping the next photos she shares will be of that precious new baby.

Thanks friend!

The simple life.

I know you have heard it time and time again.

Can simple be enough?

In fact, it can save your sanity.

Simple is my go to guy when I'm too busy.

He's my friend when I curse clutter.
(Not that I curse or anything. Ok. Maybe on the inside. Sometimes.)

So glad I'm reading Grace for the good girl.

Oh yeah...
No time to buy new decorations, he's got your back.

He's nice like that. Simple.

Yeah, we're pal's.

Want to join us?

I'll make room ;)

Picture Perfect!

I always love when friends open their homes to give us a sneak peek inside.

This beautiful home belongs to one of my sweet clients.

I had the joy of painting a piece for her nursery.

It's the ABC above the crib!

It's kinda like seeing it again for the very first time.

(Please excuse the fuzzies on a few pieces in the room.
They reveal the name and gender and we would'nt want to spoil the surprise just yet)  ;)

I fell in love with this room....deeply.

I found myself trying to crane my neck around the doors for a better peek.

You too?

The molding and transoms and floors oh my!

The rug. The lamps...sigh~

So. I did what any nosey blogger would do.

I asked. She sweetly agreed. I smiled!

Then I started racing around my own home like a crazed woman...

Oh how can I turn my home into this?!

yeah. right. darn.

Want to see more of this beautiful home?

I knew you would :)

Gosh...I want to play house in there!

It's so funny how this wooden sign made it's home there.

Nestled right in all comfy and stylish' like.

Now I know what ya'll are thinking..

Does she have a BLOG?

sorry to say no :(

She did offer to give us a little home tour.

And maybe if we show her enough bloggy love and support, we can change her mind.
(fingers crossed)

to be cont.   ;)

It never hurts to dream~

The past few days...

While on a whirlwind trip to NW Arkansas, I had the privilege of meeting up with Kelly.

This has to be one of my favorite highlights in blogging so far!

Ya'll...she is one of the sweetest bloggers I know.

I feel blessed to call her my friend.

(Maddy & Hollis)

A few years back, Kelly & her family became a household name in our home.

I can remember Maddy, my youngest, asking everyday about Harper.

We prayed for Harper's health and welcomed sweet Hollis into our hearts.

You can only imagine the excitement in our car when Maddy found out we were going to meet up!

She is still talking about it :)

We played board games.

How cute is this!

 And loved on family.

 Did I mention horses?

Marc's cousin has one horse and one donkey.

I still can't believe we were able to pull her home..ha!

She has asked us about 1000x....

Can we pleaseeeee move to Arkansas?

Marc just smiles....BIG.

Speaking of smiles...
Trying to take one good shot..

just one was all we needed

Ok...maybe next trip..ha!

The hard part..

Saying goodbye to a loved one.

Never easy.

Marc's cousin passed away last Sunday.

What a precious soul Heaven now holds.

A BHG Barnacle I am!

My friends Layla and Kate were featured in Better Homes and Gardens.

So of course I needed a copy!

Standing in the middle of Wal Mart I hurridly flipped to find them.

Never....did I imagine to find this!

I painted this sign for Layla and Kevin for above their reading room!

I tried not to squeal like a girl ....but I think I may have.

I called my Mom and shared my news.

I guess I'm kinda like a barnacle. Ha!

Thanks Kevin and Layla for allowing me to ride along side of you.

Here is a shot of her reading room.

Ok..now I have to go wash dishes.
