Yay for Yellow!

How sweet!

I was introduced to this bedding by Pottery Barn a couple weeks back. Loved it!

It belongs to a sweet 7yr old little girl.

Her Mom asked if I was interested in painting a sign.....  :)

She liked the one I had painted for Maddy.

She also liked the greys and the shape/size of this one I painted for my room.

So putting those "likes" together I came up with this.

Her walls are painted in a soft yellow
(not the color you see here)

It's so much fun when you hear

Go with it I trust you...

Although...that's when I stress the most.

ha!

Is my good...good enough?

Do ya'll do this too?

Maybe not with signs but in whatever you put "YOURSELF" into?

I do it all the time.

One day I hope to have the confidence to "go forth without fear".

"The greatest barrier to success is the fear of failure"
Sven Goran Ericksson

I'm so glad I'm learning to break barriers...

She liked it!

Wheww...    Susie~

I love it! I hold back all the time because of fear. I'm trying to learn not to do that. Most of the time I'm finding that it works out for the best if I don't listen to that fear and just go with it. Wish I had learned this a longggg time ago.

You go--it's gorgeous!

I'm not very courageous myself--always worried about how others see my actions. I don't want to be overbearing. I wish I could try more and be less fearful of how others view me or my work. I wish I had more confidence in what I like and who I am! I'm so impressed with you!

I love the sign you made!!! Great job!
I have just redone a guest room in our house that is very similar to the yellow bedroom you posted! Your sign would look great in my guest room! I plan to blog about my guest room soon!

It's darling! Way to go. And, yes, I have fear of my capabilities, mostly as the parent to a teen and pre-teen. It makes me fall to my knees every day! Learning to trust the spirit has been my biggest challenge.

Wow the timing on this is perfect for me..I decorate homes and just yesterday had a client that I was very nervous about. It turned out great and they loved it, they even asked if I could come back and do more! I work myself into a fear that what if they don't like it?? Yes I do it too! Great work!!

Susie-your signs are always gorgeous!!!

I do feel that way often. I think that someone won't like this or that that I've made.

Love that quote.

Beautiful! I'm a sucker for dandelions. Yes, I'm the same way, but whenever someone says that about a jewelry order, I've learned they already like my work and feel confident they will be happy with whatever I come up with. Doesn't change my worry and fretting! Way to go!

the sign looks fabulous!
I feel like you feel sometimes too. I think we all do at one time or another. It's okay if it's a healthy fear. I also think it helps us from getting too big of head about what we do.
