After getting a few phone calls from concerned family members thinking I had been eaten by a bear,
I thought I had better post....ha!
We are fine.
We made it to Yellowstone and what a treat it was!
The wildlife there was amazing!
(opps...that's Heidi)..ha!
Not much can top a Momma and her baby.
I had always seen pictures of the image below and thought it would be so much fun
getting into a buffalo traffic jam.
It took us about an hour to get past these guys...
The best traffic jam ever!
Baby buffalo were everywhere in the park.
It was fun/scary having Big Daddy running along the side of us.
Oooooooold Faithful!
My Dad called just as it was erupting so he was able to share my excitement.
A little souvenir shopping ;)
Then we headed out of town~
Heidi did a lot of this....zzzzzzzz...zzzz
Maddy did a lot of this...
So where are we now?
Back at home and back to reality.
What a beautiful country we share!
What a blessing to have a home waiting for me!

WOW what a trip!! Had a great time on our 'Road Trip'.
After day 14, I felt like I was on the highway "all night long"
Don't think I can ride passed a McDonalds without wanting to puke. Gonna take me another 14 days to get over all that fast food. Made Blaise come walk with me at the track last night.
Also actually started to love when the traffic jammed. LOL

Fun!!!! My family went to Yellowstone when I was probably about Maddie's age so this will be a good memory for her.
BTW..Your photos came out wonderful.
Enjoy your weather up north my friend...because it is HOT and STEAMY down here and we have had weird violent thunderstorms nearly every other day. BLAH!

Looked like you had a great time! I took my kids to Yellowstone last year. It was a 50 hour road trip (well, the driving part was 50 hours) and we LOVED it! Best trip ever!!! I LOVE camping and the outdoors so I knew Yellowstone was the trip for us, but it definitely was even better than our high expectations! SOOO much wildlife!
Glad you had so much fun. Trips like that are so recharging to me! ;)
