Day 9 Seattle

Today we set sail for Seattle!

This was Maddy's first ferry ride.

So we did what any first timers would do to pass the time....

We made silly faces...ha!

Jackie.....this picture is for you!

We wish you were here. below are GROSS!

On our way to Pikes Market we passed this alley.

Gum Alley.

It was about all I could do not to shower in hand sanitizer....really.

Maddy made sure she had her gum ready...

This is her adding her gum to the wall of YUK!

Makes me want to shower again just looking at these pictures...ha!

Fishy Fishy...

The guys would yell out and fling fish across the counter....neat!

When the owner found out we were visiting from Louisiana, he made sure to hand us his business card.

Sam...your gator will be on its way soon ;)

How I wish we had a flower market like this close to home....sigh~

We watched cheese in the making...yum!

Windows being washed...scary!

On the ferry ride back we watched the Today Show film a small segment.

Not sure what day it will air but it was fun to watch.

We were wondering if it had something to do with the bikers...hmmmm?

What a full fun day :)

  1. I'm from seattle, but my husband and I currently live in Idaho. Love your pictures from your trip to downtown Seattle! I miss it so much! Looks like you guys enjoyed your visit :)

  2. you were in my neck of the woods now! I live just north of Seattle. :) We love going to Pike Market...we will be there on Sunday because my daughters and I will be doing the Puget Sound Susan G. Komen's Race for the Cure over the the Space Needle and riding the that you were close by, our city is a fun place isn't it?

  3. Neat trip..Gotta say the gum wall grossed me out though..yuck! Thanks for sharing your adventures!

  4. Oh Cool, you went to Pikes fish market. Lotsa fun to just watch, isn't it? We saw them on the foodnetwork and I told my hubby someday we need to get out that way just to head to the fish market. Cute pics of you and Maddy and love the one with her on Madison Street.
Okay, the gum wall was just can I say EWWWW! But thanks for sharing. : )
Can't wait to see all the eye candy from the Farm Chicks show.
Hugs to you and girls from LA. : )

  5. I justed wanted to thank you. You've inspired me to start my own blog. It's been such a treat to see how your journey has been. Good luck!

  6. The gum wall! EWWWWW! But if I were there I'd put mine on it, too! :)

I'm loving these pictures. So glad y'all are having a good time!

  7. Sounds like y'all are having a great time! I am loving the pictures! Too cute and fun! That gum wall is just icky!

  8. Looks like another GREAT day! I have been all over Oregon and Washington state but never to Seattle. I really want to go there someday.

  9. I was just thinking today I need to play tourist in my own city again soon. Your pictures cemented that thought. So glad the weather was wonderful for you. It hasn't been that way for many a moon, I'll tell you!!! Enjoy the rest of your trip.

  10. I need a flower market like that here too! AND the fruit... the fruit! Have you ever seen such big beautiful fruit? I love seattle.

  11. Oh, how I miss living in the Seattle area! We used to go to a place called Theater Sports, located in that very Gum Alley :) I agree, gross yet something to see if you are at Pike Place Market. I love that place. Hope you enjoyed your time there. Not sure if you're a coffee lover like me or not, but the Starbucks across from the market was the very first Starbucks Cafe. A bit of useless info, haha.

  12. Speaking of just adding your favorite jacket, Bandage Dress Lubov almost always wears Herve Leger separates.Perhaps because of Herve Leger Replica how we show our pieces, or just the assumed way of Herve Leger, Oktoberfest outfit people tend to wear our collections together, as one piece. But I like them as separates; it’s almost cooler,” she says. “I would put this jacket with a pair of jeans or a work skirt. And of course it all Animal Costumes but if you’re in L.A., you just wear the skirt with a T-shirt. The great thing about Herve separates is that it adds high fashion glamour to any number of basic pieces you already own.”depends on where you live

Thanks for stopping by. It's always so nice to hear from you.
