A clean slate

After repainting my master bath I noticed something...

My walls and counter tops where bare and

I liked it!

Here's what I'm talking about....

Every.Square.Inch.Covered.

Yep.

Now I'm a lover of all things Fleur just like the rest of us Southern Bells....

But a girls gotta know when to quit.

Can I get an Amen...?

So I replaced only the bare necessities.

I'm telling you..my bathroom grew two feet..really!

Adding some crisp new white towels made me feel like I had a whole room makeover!

It does echo..echo..echo...

in here now.

A white fluffy new rug fixed that :)

Yes...sometimes less is best!

In this case...for sure.

I think I even made a few dollars on this makeover.

Now that's what I'm talking about!

I'm still having friends join the book  giveaway here.
If you have yet to join in it's not too late.
I will wait for you...

You need to let me put a really nice monogram on those fluffy white towels!

Clean makes it feel like a spa :)

It looks beautiful. . . except I'm thinking that the space above the big window sure would be a wonderful spot for one of your hand-painted creations. Of course, nearly ANYWHERE would be a good spot for one of your hand-painted creations! :)

Hey, Susie! I've gotten so behind on my blog reading & I just caught up on your cross country trip to WA & all of that fun. What a great girl trip you had, loved reading about it. And I totally missed your bedroom post last month. Love the grey & yellow (and that yellow fabric was in my old kitchen, great choice!). You have been busy, it's looking so good.

I sure hope to see you again soon! xoxo Miss ya!

I am so with you on this! I am really enjoying the bare look of counters in my home. I am about to really pare down my kitchen with only necessities. Your bathroom looks awesome and, I think, more timeless with the new arrangement. Excited to get my bird pic!! Thanks so much!

Your bathroom certainly looks clean and fresh. What is the paint color you used on the walls? It's really pretty. :)

I think it looks beautiful! Calm, quiet, simple, serene...everything a bathroom should be. I think it helps to calm you when there is less "stuff" around you to distract you. Love it!

Amen!! I always like the minimal approach AND I keep things cleaner when there's not so many things to move.

Love the look of your bathroom. Clean, calm, and serene! Do you remember the name of the paint color you used? It looks gray to me and I just love it!

Very pretty! I too have simplified, and LOVE the look (in addition to how easy it all is to clean)! :)

Wishing you a lovely one, Susie!

This looks amazing, and it's so peaceful without the "stuff", it's almost like a relief visually. This is all very inspiring... I am going to go home and take all the 40 billion things off my bathroom counters as soon as i get off of work!
