Overcome.

Last night was  overcoming to say the least.
We went to the Winter Jam fest in Baton Rouge...

No big deal right?
Well, I don't do crowds very well. Petrified.
I look for the seat closest to an exit and farrrrrrr away.

See us wayyy up here?

We had floor seats waiting on us below.
There for the taking....could I overcome?

With 10 year old incouragemant I made it to the floor!

Oh so close...

To everyone.

But I guess its ok when you're right there with Francesca Battistelli!

Bless her heart.
She was sick as dog but gave it her all.
For that we were blessed.

And then there was this guy.

The David Crowder Band  is one of my all time favs...

He had me feeling like I was alone in that huge ocean of bodies.

Just me and my Lord.

Overcome.

Sweet lil Chris..

Don't cha wanna just hug him?

Well....some of us did!

She started digging through my purse like a crazed woman.

I need paper....quick MOM!

I don't carry paper..

I mean I have a tape measure, check book, lipgloss

Then I found something!!!

Oh can you only guess....Ha!

Chris August signed his autograph on a Martha Stewart paint chip!

You know you live in a decorating blog when....Ha

After the show we bought Madison CDs instead of paint chips.
We stood in a crowded line for over an hour for Francesca.
Thank goodness we were 4th in line :)

It was after midnight before we all hit the hay.
Overcome.

Check here to see if they will be in your neck of the woods.

  4. I am terrified in a huge crowd but you are an overcomer...good for you! I LOVE DAVID CROWDER! AND HIS MUSIC!! Did you see the blog Kelly wrote maybe a year ago about meeting David Crowder in the airport? Got the funniest pic of him and Harper together. Harper was looking at him like "Who is the world is this guy?" It was so funny!

  8. This looks like it was so much fun! But I don't enjoy crowds either -- I've always had this strange fear of getting lost and not being able to find my way back! Anyway, I'm glad you were able to enjoy the event and that it was a great time!

  13. Oh, how fun. We went when they came to Tupelo. It was a blast. I loved the speaker Tony Nolan. I had never heard of him but he was powerful. We also love Kutlas. But like you, my favorite was the David Crowder Band.
I am glad you overcame your fear and had a great time!!!

  25. Red Black 11 Jordan, To return to the Oedipal theme: The first of the movie's three acts, devoted to Ned's impoverished upbringing in a scorched earth backwoods, introduces not just an all consuming mother but also a succession of dubious father figures. There is Ned's biological "da," Red Kelly (Ben Corbett), an Irish born convict who dies early on, tormented and humiliated along the way by an English sergeant, O'Neil (Charlie Hunnam), who regularly calls on Ellen for sexual favors. Ned gets his shot at revenge against O'Neil in a scene that plays like an unnerving castration fantasy, egged on by Harry Power (a superb Russell Crowe), the famous bushranger who takes the boy under wing..

He's been with me now over a year and he's kind of familiar with our system. Jordan 6 Low Black Metallic Silver, We consider visual hallucinations and illusions as varieties of visual perceptual experience, as they are closely related to visual perception in terms of underlying brain activity.3 Phenomena with elements of both perception and imagery are more difficult to classify. For example, experiences referred to as pseudohallucinations or incomplete hallucinations (see Blom4 for other uses of these terms) are seen in the mind's eye but are outside volitional control. We have highlighted such ambiguous experiences in the classification and, where appropriate, presented both perceptual and imagery viewpoints.DisorderWe use the term disorder for continuity with previous clinical literature, although much of the classification relates to perceptual symptoms that do not imply a specific disease or pathology.Hodotopic frameworkWe have classified visual perceptual disorders using the general anatomical framework we set out in 2005 as an update of classical associationist and neo associationist accounts of higher cognitive function and dysfunction.5 Recent advances in functional neuroanatomy, using techniques such as functional MRI (fMRI) and diffusion tensor tractography (DT tractography), provide complementary views of the anatomy of higher function and the pathological mechanisms that generate cognitive and behavioural symptoms.
