(HUGE red face alert)
please excuse the ' in days.
thank you~
I could just X-nay this post but I wont.
It is so me...ha!
Seasons.
They come. They go~
Some of us are even wishing for warmer days.
(remind me about this one in a few months) haha!
A reader asked if I could paint a chalkboard sign for her.
You betcha!
She wanted her chalkboard calender to be all black (cute)
I thought I would make one with a twist.
So I painted chalboard ends and the middle white.
I wish I could tell ya'll how smart I was and claim this idea as my own....
But...
No can do.
Miss Julie from Joy's Hope is the beautiful mind behind it.
She even goes as far as giving a DIY
here on Infarrantly Creative.
How sweet is that!
Are you counting the day's until something special?
I think I always say the season ahead is my favorite.
So spring it is!
God is so great at giving us something to look forward to.
Just yesterday I noticed a daffodil showing off in my flower beds.
Yay!

Doesn't "day's" mean "day is" or the possessive?
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this idea. TOO. DARN. CUTE.
ReplyDeleteBut shouldn't it be "days" (plural) not "day's" (possessive)? :(
Yep! Darn it big time! Thanks ya'll :) Got some fixing to do..ha!
ReplyDeleteI love the sign, Susie. It's a really creative idea!

Ha, I usually catch those kinda errors and I didnt. But I love the sign,, and I just found out that I'll be a grandma for the first time in about 8 months and this would be super cute to do for that countdown.
ReplyDeleteOh, we all make those little faux paus. Praise God for grace.
ReplyDeleteI love your sign..... I need one. My big, little man, will be 14 on Feb. 20th and I think it would be great to have a sign counting down those special days.
