Painting On Pine


Painting is not just for canvas anymore!

I wanted to cover a pretty large space in my bedroom.

Unfortunately a canvas this size would have cost a small fortune.

Thank goodness for PINE!



A thin piece of $12.00  pine  made the perfect backdrop.

Layers of muted colors danced in my head and flowed right onto the wood.


I didn't fuss over straight lines nor perfection.



I really enjoyed working on this piece.

  14. It's beautiful! The colors are so perfectly muted and so appropriate for a bedroom. I tend to be more partial to painted wood over canvases anyway.
