In church this morning our Governor ( Bobby Jindal) shared his testimony with us.
What a blessing it was.
It's kind of refreshing to have have someone like him in office.
(wonder what's up with my puffy face this morning)!!??
It was a nice lesson for Madison too.
Good people can do great things if they put Christ first.
She adores Him!
I could not wait to get home today and kick off my shoes
change my clothes
have some home cooking
(thank you Maw Maw)
and maybe a nap!
I love Sunday's!
Sounds like a great day and a great message!
ReplyDeleteI bet your governor had a great message. Your daughter is so cute!!! Hope you have a wonderful week. Love & blessings from NC!
ReplyDeleteWow! All I can say Susie!
ReplyDeleteLove him too!!!
ReplyDeleteBobby for President!
Puffy my foot! You are absolutely beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteHere's a Texan who absolutely LOVES Bobby Jindal. His outstanding leadership during the oil spill mess has been amazing. God bless 'im. And you too. Very cute and blessed family!
ReplyDeleteI think your Governor has a big career ahead of him. He seems to really care! That is the kind of politicians we need. Action not just talk:) Love the pics.

Yes, yes, yes, we need followers of Christ in his position. We have a battle going on with good and evil and we need his faith to lead us. Love your blog.
ReplyDeleteSusie -
ReplyDeleteI like Bobby Jindal. NJ finally has a good Governor as well, Chris Christie. I'd be pleased to see either of these men on a ticket to the White House. So, what did Maw Maw make for dinner?
Your Friend,
- Deborah
Sounds like a special morning! It says alot about a person that he comes to a Sunday morning service :)

You and me both - there is nothing better than a Sunday nap after church!
ReplyDeleteHow neat that he came a shared his testimony.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you had a good day. Hope your nap was great.
That is so neat. Puts your faith back in leaders. All the ones around Memphis are crazy. Well, I think the current mayor isn't, but his predecessor is a nutcase who is running for Congress.
ReplyDeleteSorry, didn't mean to get on a soapbox! : )
I hope you got your nap today...I sure did! Sundays are my favorite days of the week!
How awesome that you got to meet him and hear his testimony. I love Bobby Jindal too. He seems like a great man.
ReplyDeletesounds like a wonderful day.
ReplyDeletehope you got your nap!
In a day and age where politicians can't be trusted and hide their beliefs as not to offend anyone...this is such a wonderful example of how folks should be!
ReplyDeleteThat is too cool!!!
ReplyDeleteI think we all need a little change in our so called perspective. Maybe he'll be the new trend :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great way to spend a Sunday ~ nap included.
Jo
What a wonderful experience!

I think LA is on the right track again. But sorry, BOBBY JINDAL FOR PRESIDENT!! He is an honest, sincere, faithful man who has a brain as well. Living on the Gulf Coast as I do, I've been able to see more of him and his part in the oil spill. He has been a giant among men here.
ReplyDeleteAnd last but not least WHO DAT????
Sounds like you had a GREAT Sunday!!!♥
ReplyDeleteWOW! What a privilege you had! I think Governor Jindal is a great leader...I'm with several of your other readers~put him on the presidential ticket in 2012! WooHoo!
ReplyDeleteI'm a Floridian, who loves Bobby Jindal. I agree w/ Donna and others, hope he is on the 2012 ticket.
ReplyDeleteIt is so cool you got to meet him and have a picture made w/ him!!!
As a Louisianian, glad to hear this. For me, it makes the political scene a little more bearable.
ReplyDeleteSundays are a joyful way to energize the beginning your week and I'm glad you and your family had such a wonderful time. And no, your face doesn't look puffy. You look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt makes me feel proud to know that our governor is a follower of Christ, thanks for posting that. And BTW, Gov Jindal rocks!
ReplyDeleteI would have LOVED to have heard his testimony. Wow! I didn't know that he was a Christian. I just knew that I liked him a lot. I sure wish we had someone like that in the White House. :(
ReplyDeleteI read you all the time, don't comment too often.
ReplyDeleteI hope your Governor runs for President one day, I am from Massachusetts and I just adore him !!! So sorry for all the problems you had with the oil leak !!!
All the best,
Kathy :)
