Do you remember this post?
It was the longest yardsale ever.
Layla and I almost put our dukes up for this sign.
Nawww..
Thank goodness we are ladies
and let someone else have it.
You can watch our video here
I thought it would be so much fun to paint one.
Now every time I look at it I'm reminded
of those special friends
and
that fun day!
It is the perfect size for above my cabinets.
I only wish my kitchen closed at 6:00
Ha..Ha..
If you would like one too
You can visit here
I would love to paint one for you!
Speaking of kitchens...
I have a full dishwasher that is waiting
to be unloaded.
Let the summer begin!

Oh, and are you in need of some long rulers? I know a place where you can get some for $2.50 a piece, but you have to share...K?

ReplyDeleteSusie,
ReplyDeleteLove your signs...and yes, wouldn't it be nice if the kitchen closed at 6:00PM? LOL, when I am done washing the dishes and putting the food away...our kitchen is closed.

ReplyDeleteI went to that longest yard sale up in Michigan and I can't wait for this year. Didn't have to go many miles until the car was packed full! lol! Loads of fun!

Also... funny that you and Miss Mustard seed did the same sign on the same day. :) It's a small crafty world.
I love it Susie! You are so talented. I get so many compliments on my sign. I'm actually going to rearrange our master so that it will be visible from the hallway! I'm sure I'll be ordering another sign from you very soon.

ReplyDeleteAnother great sign. I agree it looks great above your cabinet. I was wondering if you painted your cabinet yourself. I am thinking of painting my china cabinet and kitchen cabinets this summer but have no idea what type of paint, primer etc. to use. Any suggestions would be most appreciated!
ReplyDeleteLove it. Your "aging" is always so perfect.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the sign! :)
ReplyDeleteI was waiting for a comment from you saying that the kitchen never closes at 6!! LOL It turned out fantastic- love it and your ingenuity, Susie.

Love the sign! It looks fantastic. I will be linking to this.
ReplyDeleteMy husband's great grandpa was a sign painter in the early 1900's. It truly is an art. My husband is still fanatical about cleaning his paintbrushes, due to great grandpa's influence.
