Layla and I almost put our dukes up for this sign.

Thank goodness we are ladies

and let someone else have it.

Now every time I look at it I'm reminded

of those special friends

and

that fun day!


It is the perfect size for above my cabinets.


I only wish my kitchen closed at 6:00

    Love your signs...and yes, wouldn't it be nice if the kitchen closed at 6:00PM? LOL, when I am done washing the dishes and putting the food away...our kitchen is closed.

    You could always try to enforce the sign. Afterhours you could sadly point to the sign and say "sorry, your on your own" Who knows, it might work!

  35. Another great sign. I agree it looks great above your cabinet. I was wondering if you painted your cabinet yourself. I am thinking of painting my china cabinet and kitchen cabinets this summer but have no idea what type of paint, primer etc. to use. Any suggestions would be most appreciated!

  40. My husband's great grandpa was a sign painter in the early 1900's. It truly is an art. My husband is still fanatical about cleaning his paintbrushes, due to great grandpa's influence.
