This was a hard post to write.
Harder than I thought it would be.
Saturday we said goodbye to the last three babies.
I didnt think it was going to be this hard to let them go,
but it was..
I was just amazed at how fast puppies grow!
I loved on each one before saying goodbye.
They were not worried in the least bit....
We made sure that they were going to very special familes with huge yards.
Alley is doing is fine adjusting to her new role as a "free bird".
She is like a puppy again herself...sigh~
Marc snapped these photos on his phone...
As you can see...some of "us" took it a little harder...bless her heart.
Many of you have sweetly asked about Kaylee.
She is doing fine.
We are just waiting to get in to see the Dr. and will go from there.
XOXO Susie~

Glad the puppies found good homes, but it is still not easy to give them up. Love & blessings from NC!
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about puppies? they are so stinkin cute! I could see how hard it would be to let them go. I just want to jump through the screen and grab one right now.
ReplyDelete*sniff* I don't think I could have done it! I think we would have had 9 labs! OMGosh,... NO... Scratch that... Two is enough!!!
ReplyDeleteStill...They are so cute, love that roli-poli belly! I still can't believe it- has it really been 8 weeks?? My, time flies!
Awww they are all so sweet..love those plump li'l bellies.
ReplyDeleteSniff sniff..I would miss them too.
Glad to hear that Kaylee is doing well.
Blessings~

ReplyDeleteWhat did I miss about your little girl? I hope she is okay.
Even though it is a lot of work to have puppies (one time we had 13) it is still hard to say good bye. Its so easy to love them!
ReplyDeleteThat is so hard to say goodbye! They are so cute! Love the chocolate brown baby! ~Lulu

I am having a GIVEAWAY...Come and check it out!
*Tear* I just love the fat belly on the blond one in the crate. If all the families live in the area, maybe you can plan a puppy reunion! Ours was a lot of fun.

Bless her heart indeed! I know how Kiddo would feel. Hopefully knowing they will grow up happy and loved makes it easier.

ReplyDeleteOh, oh, oh. Those adorable babies. I'm glad you found homes for them. . . but it must have been torture to let them go. It seems like just a couple of weeks ago that you posted about their birth! Thanks for sharing these photos of them.
ReplyDeleteI am a dog person, no doubt about it.
Ohhh!! Soooo cuuute! Love the pictures! I bet it was hard to let them go. Glad you found good homes for them.
ReplyDeleteAwww! I would have bawled my eyes out to let those little sweeties go. :( At least they are going to be loved by their new families. Remember, time heals all wounds.

Just came across your blog (from Pinterest re: trumeau mirrors) and I saw on one of your posts that you were getting ready to have puppies, so I checked out your post list. I saw the post when the pups were newborns and found this one. They were so cute! I bet it was difficult letting them go. I am going to have to check out more of your blog. :)
