Can you guess?
Here's the hint.
Jesse
bless his heart
Got snagged to do another project of mine.
Thank the Good Lord I had a Boy!
I really like the sleekness
of the stainless.
It just fits!
I found the pendant at our Home Depot
Under $30.00!
Whoop Whoop!
Funny how changing just a few things makes the difference.
I wont be hanging up the curtains for now.
Just enjoying that sunlight too much!
Now ask me again in about a month when it's 110 degrees and I may have a different plan. Till now I am just enjoying!
Speaking of enjoying...
If you want to hear my horrendous laugh
just watch the video below.
This is how we roll....ha!

I just love your new pendant...I have a thing for "industrial" lighting!
ReplyDeleteLooks good. Can't wait to see what you come up with next.
ReplyDeleteLove it, love it, love it!
ReplyDeleteYour son is cute and your laugh cracked me up! I actually started laughing myself!
Thanks for sharing the joy~
Robin~♥
I love the light! What a great space to stand and do the dishes. A few weeks ago I ripped my curtains down just to let the light come streaming in. I didn't realize that the curtains also were hiding some dirty windows too. :)
ReplyDeleteThe new pendant is perfect- LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteSusie -
ReplyDeleteLove the light fixture and that you are letting all the natural light pour in. I do the same. I think it would be a sin to cover up big long antique windows.
Deborah
Yes, I love the light, too! It's simplicity puts all the other beautiful items you have on center stage! All the colors work so well together. I have a few light fixtures to change- perhaps you and your son can make a how-to video tutorial? (you know... this means you might have to change another light... I bet you are on board now, huh??) :P
ReplyDeleteThe video is just to cute! Love the new pendant!
ReplyDeleteThat type pendant is one of my favorites. If I ever find the table I'm looking for to replace the round table, at the lake, I'm going to switch to a pendant like this one. I'm looking for a rough oblong table, about 6 ft long. It will turn up someday, perhaps.
ReplyDeleteI like your windows uncovered, Susie....perfect with the pendant. Really shows it off to a great advantage.
Love it! Funny I haven't seen that one at our Home Depot...I'll have to check back over there! Love the color of your kitchen too!
ReplyDeleteI love the light and I love the price tag. How great.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I can't download the video. I will keep trying.
Love it! Was just getting ready to ask where you found it, but you took care of that for me. Thanks. ;)
ReplyDeleteYour laugh is contagious....just love it! Your kitchen changes....make the room seem happier too!
ReplyDeleteHello sweet Susie - I've been out of the loop for a couple of months. Enjoying catching up with my fave blogs! Love your sleek pendant! It looks like it was designed especially for that space. And having boys in the house does come in handy, doesn't it!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

You have a very handsome chap there Susie, but I guess you knew that already!!! xxx
ReplyDeleteThe pendant is cute...but not near as cute as your son! My son is a bulder and I am always bribing him to come over and do little projects for me.
ReplyDeleteLove the light, loved the video! I laughed along with you!! Cutie pie sons are a good thing!!
ReplyDeleteLou Cinda :)
The light looks awesome in your kitchen. It's perfect! The video was very funny too! What a good son you've raised!
ReplyDeleteThe new light is looking really good and I just love your happy laugh!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the new light pendant!
ReplyDeleteI think the new pendant looks good with out the curtains....Maybe because it's so nice to have all that natural light right now, after such a long dreary winter.
Love your blog.

I love the new light so much better than the last one. The other looked more "tuscan".

ReplyDeleteLove the windows sans the curtains....
Love your handy son....
Love your laugh!!
Your kitchen is wonderful, I love the soft whites and the stainless light looks sooo much better that the old one. Very nice. Smiles, Marla
ReplyDeleteOoohhh...I love it! Now you've got my mind racing, as I have a corner sink just like yours. Hmmmm....
ReplyDeleteLove the new light - hearing you laugh made ME start laughing. You are too cute!
ReplyDeleteI like both lights but the new one really goes with your kitchen. Would you send us some of your southern sunshine? My mental state could sure use it;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful kitchen! Love the light even though I usually don't go for something like this at all. It just gives such a clean look to the already clean-look kitchen. And what a cute son!
ReplyDeletesooooooooooooo funny! one of those laughs that's contagious! oh, and great light...better than #1.
ReplyDeleteOh Susie, I think the height and shape of the new light is PERFECT for that space! It's just beautiful! I know you are enjoying it!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Shilo
Fabulous kitchen - even I would be tempted to cook in there!
ReplyDeleteLove the new fixture! I am going to have to check out Home Depot now. If you want light and curtains you can just raise your rod up so that the bottom of the curtains just skim the top of the window. Then you could have the best of both worlds!
ReplyDeleteLove the fixture and the open windows! I've blogged about our kitchen renovation recently....I love yours! Your son is a cutie patootie! Love your blog and am now following! LaurieAnna
ReplyDeleteYour new light is so great and I love your kitchen sink nook! The plants make it feel so fresh and springy.
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL.
