Heading To Roundtop...

You may remember last fall 
 when my sister and I hit the road for Round Top.
It was pure pleasure
Overload!
This place is unbelieveable!
You could spend the entire two weeks
and
still not take it all in.
So today I worked on getting a few orders in the mail.
I finished two paintings too!

Tommorow I hope to have my bags packed
and my house cleaned.
Before the crack of dawn on Wednesday
we will be heading to feast our
eyes on views like this...
I know this year we have to think small...
As much as I love seeing how much my car can hold...
 I'm leaving my car and maps at home.
No husband.
No kids.
No puppies.
Just Sonic
and some good Sister time!

  13. I'm headed out there on Thursday! I CANNOT wait! My only drawback is I'm dragging along a slightly reluctant almost 5 year old. I'm strapping her into her old umbrella stroller and giving her my iPhone loaded up with games that will hopefully placate her. If that doesn't help I'll bribe the heck out of her. ;)

  57. WOW!! I can not stand it those pictures show too much fun and excitment. I would have a heart attack in front of the French linens, and a double Lung transplant with the rest of it, do to the fact I would stop breathing :)

  61. Oh, Susie.
    I wish i would have seen your blog prior to my second visit to Roundtop.
    I really didn't know exactly which cluster of tents to head for in search of my style.
    My two closest friends and i went to Marburger, (one is a devoted Magnolia Pearl customer).

    We walked over 8 hours in search of inspiration.
    And i did find about 10 booths, that were right up my alley.
    Unfortunately, that was about it.
    If i would have had a little more knowledge, i would have headed straight for Zapp Hall.

    Well, hopefully i will have the chance to do it again.
    I wish someone, (if they haven't already), would create some kind of a directory to the vintage/all- white/eclectic booths, for us newbies.
    Anyway, I hope you had a great time. come back with loads of photos for those of us who didn't make it to Zapp Hall.
    Oh, and all complaining aside, i enjoyed my time with my two best friends. We cried, we laughed, and we even through a tantrum or two. One of the best get-aways i will never forget.
