Curve appeal for the bathroom.
This bathroom has every element covered. Sleek and modern yet sassy.
I found this great mirror at Home Depot for 32.00
The decorative knob and chain sold it for me!
Then there was this shelf...
Oh this "gotta have it" shelf....from Wal Mart.
Yes, I said that right. Wal Mart ladies for under 12.00.
I have seen this same shelf for much much more.
It came with this pattern that you tape on your wall so you get it just right.
It worked..first try. I wont share this info with my sweet husband.
I asked him days ago to hang these up for me and ..well..he didnt.
He went out of town for a couple of days and returned to see this..
Wonder how long I will let him think it was hard work?
So now all of the large pieces are in place.
Now to find just the right pieces to fill in the blanks....
xoxo Susie~
Love, love the mirror and the shelf!

ReplyDeleteOh and congrats on your big magazine debut!!
Happy New Year!!!
I love them both. Just wait till you see my 4 chairs that I bought for $6. I can not wait to get them done.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your sweet comments and suggestions on the feedburner. That is part of the problem. Blogger/Google was of absolutely no help. They still think everything is perfect on my blog. So I did a search for ideas. I found a guy who posted the exact same problem I had and he said the only way he could get his posts to start posting to the Reader was to remove the info out of the Feedburner, go in to see if your posts show up and then go back and put the info back into feedburner. Did all of that. As soon as I removed the info from feedburner my posts for 3 weeks all started going in to feedburner--YEAH but as soon as I put the info back in to the feedburner anything new would not post any longer. I would take it out and sometimes have to wait 30-45 min for it to finally show up in the reader but eventually it would, as long as I left out the feedburner. If I have it in there nothing will post any longer. It makes no sense at all. I am hoping as soon as I get moved to my own domain all of these issues will be cleared up and I can focus on FUN for awhile.
If you have any suggestions I am all ears.
Cheri

The sneak peek is looking great already. I just have to ask...Walmart is a great american store and everyone in the world shops there so why when finding a great item and a great deal you and many other bloggers don't like to admit to the fact that you go there just like everyone else?
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that shelf was from Wal-Mart for under $12! Great find. I'll have to keep that in mind. I also love the knob and shape of the mirror. Very stylish and thrifty choices.
ReplyDeleteSusie - do you still make signs for people? I saw you have some in your store but do you make them to order any more?
ReplyDeleteLet me know!

ReplyDeleteHey, that looks adorable, what a great combo. Wish you were going to Blissdom too, we'll miss you. :(
ReplyDeleteI need a shelf just like that and you're right they are usually expensive........hope my local Walmart has one.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing the final pics of the bathroom.
I'm so super excited about having seen this. I'm working on our baby girl's nursery, and have been looking for a mirror to go over the changing table area. I think this will work perfectly, though I think I'm going to wrap the chain in ribbon....
ReplyDeleteAnyway, we're headed to Home Depot tomorrow for date nite to pick up the mirror, and a little Dairy Queen on the way home to celebrate our (your!) find!
Thanks, Suz!
looks like i need to make a trip to home depot- what a cool mirror! i am doing a bathroom renovation right now too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool mirror! Love the curvy lines.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to let you know that I've linked to you in my recent post! (I'm doing my own, humble bathroom facelift!) You were a big part of my inspiration for one of my wall art projects! :) http://strangeandlovelyride.blogspot.com/2010/01/guest-bathroom-facelift-part-2.html
I LOVE it! You did well, ma'am! : )
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog! Yippee!
ReplyDeleteCome by for a visit!
Love them both! I am in the middle of a bath update myself and will definitely be heading to Walmart to look for that shelf! The other options I have been looking at have been in the 30-40 range for something almost identical!
ReplyDelete“Women really dress based on their body shape. For example, Herve Leger Dress I’m very athletic. I have bigger shoulders and bigger bust bandage dresses herve leger and smaller in the hip area. So when it comes to Herve Leger, Dirndl Dress for me it’s really about A-line dresses because it gives me a hip but minimizes me on the top.”While there’s no doubt that Lubov and her husband, Max, design for women everywhere, you can’t help but imagine her stamping Herve Leger Dresses a mini-claim on a certain white dress and capelet pair when it was in its early stages. It’s a look we can imagine every woman instantly coveting when it’s available in April.
