I am. These two words say so much. It saddens me to think some only know Jesus as a tiny baby in a manger at Christmas. If they only knew He is so much more than that! He is the Alpha and Omega...our beginning and end.

Our names are a big part of who we are. In biblical times it revealed a person's character. God has many names throughout the bible and it amazes me how each one tells His story.
Just by saying His name can bring many emotions out in me. Comforter.Savior.King.Teacher.Hope!
I painted this sign as a reminder...He is the Great I am and so much more. He is my beginning and my end. He is my
Hope when times are hard. He
Counsels me when I am confused. He
Comforts me when I am weary. He will never leave me...He is my
Everlasting Father!
"The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous runs into it and is safe."
Proverbs. 18:10
*** I will now be adding this design to my Etsy shop...."just in case you need a little reminder too"***
Amen! That's all there is to say about that post. I love the board. I bought something similar on Esty but it was about San Francisco. (I love the city) It was also small and expensive and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I think I could recreate it myself. I love how big yours is though.
ReplyDeleteGiving you a second on that AMEN!! This is my new fave board you have made. You are so right about how so many think of Jesus as the baby in the manger and nothing else.
ReplyDeleteHe is my Saviour and Hope.
Thanks for reminding us of this Susie.
Blessings to you and your family this Christmas Season.
Susie,
ReplyDeleteWhat a blessing to know HIM, and to have found your blog...you are a blessing as well.
Merry CHRISTmas!

Love it! And HIM!! Thanks for sharing!

That is just BEAUTIFUL.♥
ReplyDeleteOooh Susie, love this!!!
ReplyDeletei love it!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing Susie and if I could afford it I would buy it! I love everything about it. My favorite names of God change as He reveals more of Himself to me. This year has been a refining process for me. I have felt every bit at times like I was thrown in the fire, so Refiner and Comforter would be two. Now with our tenuous and scary financial situation, Jehovah Jireh would be another. But "I AM" is always the one that brings me to my knees and humbles my very being.
ReplyDeleteYour sign is precious. Thanks for sharing it!
Your sign is beautiful and inspirational.
ReplyDeleteWow! this sign is a beautiful reminder of the hope we have in Jesus! My heart is full to see this and I am truly humbled..This would be a beautiful addition to The Whispering Creek House because it is our heart! God bless you and keep you during this season as we celebrate HIS birth!Hugs to you my friend!Simply beautiful...
ReplyDeleteHe's so amazing and to think, HE CHOSE US to be His own!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite name is El Shaddai - God Almighty.
Love it! Also...are your ceilings in there blue, or is it just the angle of the photo?
ReplyDeleteOur Pastor recently gave a message on "I AM" so I really enjoyed this post. I wish Christmas wouldn't be so commercial and people would concentrate on it's true meaning.

this is a beautiful reminder, especially now when there are so many other things to be caught up in. hope you are well. susan
ReplyDelete"I Am" is my favorite of all, but the one that means the most to me is that He is my Portion...Lamentations 3:24 says, "I say to myself, 'The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.'" Mmmm...love that! HE IS ENOUGH!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post and reminder. He is our Awesome God!!
ReplyDeleteI love the sign.

Love it. I need that reminder on the hard days, and the good days. Hope you are having a blessed Christmas season. Jackie
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful. I think we all need a reminder of our Savior's great love for us and his life. Comforter is one of my favorites. He comforts me when no one else can. Thanks Susie.
ReplyDeleteFABULOUS!!! You have really outdone yourself now.....
ReplyDeleteI think your Pastor's would like one of those for Christmas. HA!
Be blessed!
Gosh Susie I love this out of all the projects you have made...don't get me wrong I love your stuff but this is just beautiful...I looked in your store and not one there so will you be doing anymore. I would love to see if I could afford it...My dad is a Methodist Pastor and has been one for over 50 years...he went into retirement and only stayed in it 3 months and came out and took a little church in the North Georgia Mountains because they did not have a full time minister. Let me know how much and if you could do me one?
ReplyDeleteI also love the church window...my parents would love this also. So tell me if you plan on selling any of those?
I LOVE that sign, and your blog! My first time to comment, but I just had to tell you how much I love the names of Jesus on that sign....wonderful!

ReplyDeleteI am a newcomer to your blog. I'm loving getting to know you.
I think that Handel narrowed the names down to Wonderful, Counselor, Almighty God, Prince of Peace. Then he put it to such beautiful music. I can't argue with Handel.

Speaking of just adding your favorite jacket, Bandage Dresses Lubov almost always wears Herve Leger separates.Perhaps because of Herve Leger Replica how we show our pieces, or just the assumed way of Herve Leger, Oktoberfest outfit people tend to wear our collections together, as one piece. But I like them as separates; it’s almost cooler,” she says. “I would put this jacket with a pair of jeans or a work skirt. And of course it all but if you’re in L.A., you just wear Herve Leger Dressesthe skirt with a T-shirt. The great thing about Herve separates is that it adds high fashion glamour to any number of basic pieces you already own.”depends on where you live,
ReplyDeleteI conceive you have noted some very interesting points, regards for the post.
