Tip #1 It's a wrap!

Does this drive you crazy? If you are like me, you try to save every piece of paper for "just in case" sizes. After some time you find you have a slew of small scraps you just cant throw out and your roll wont stay put.Grab yourself that pair of pantyhose that has the run in it...you know the pair. FYI...these are NOT my fishnets ha! Take your scraps and just wrap them around the roll. No need to tape and waste because the hose will hold everything snug.

Tuck the "booty" part in the hole of your paper rolls and your hose will stay up and keep those wrinkles from getting the best of your paper. Now that's how to get a legs up on your holiday wrapping...har har~

Great idea! I got some of the red (and green) wrapping paper this weekend, too! I'm close to figuring out our sign that I talked to you about awhile ago. I'll let you know ASAP! :-)

Great tip Susie. I hate all the rolls that won't stay together. I use rubberbands. Not very clever but it works:)

a great idea. You crack me up!

Great idea, Susie. I am terrible about saving the scraps, then getting ticked that they're laying around and tossing them. Good solution. :)

Those fishnets look better around that paper than they would my leg! HA!

I believe you have also been to the 50% off sale at Hobby Lobby - that paper looks familiar! Great idea with the hose! My father-in-law has a new wife who is VERY organized and neat - I'll bet she almost has a stroke each time she walks into my house (I'll bet she also does not save little scraps of paper, either). I've noticed that most "neat" people throw away alot of things. I just can't do that.

I almost bought that red and white paper at Hobby Lobby the other day! It's soooo pretty! They have it in green, too! But I knew I had some rolls of burgundy that I didn't think that paper would match, so I opted for two styles of burgundy and golden brown. AND they were half price! : )

As far as the pantyhose thing, girl, you are so creative! I would have never thought to do that!

Another use for pantyhose! I use my old ones in the summer to keep my tomatoes upright! Great idea!!! Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving!

My Mom always taught me to roll the scraps up and stick them into the middle of the tube, but I think I like the pantyhose idea better.
Thanks for sharing this great tip!

Oh I adore this idea! I think I have an extra hose on my LEG LAMP. :)

I have decided to forgo my love/hate realtionship with wrapping paper.
I have made linen bags in various sizes this year.
I have just begun my 3 weeks of crafts, decor and more. Come by.

LOL that is a great solution!!! I just said to my man yesterday, why doesn't someone make a roll of precut sheets that are the perfect size for shirt boxes? But then we'd not have the extra pieces...

Oh my gosh, that is the BEST idea I've ever heard of!
