Catching up...

First I have to tell you how much I have missed all of you!!! My computer caught a nasty bug and was down for a while but I am BACK! This is where I left off...Rare books..

Rare Books...was so much fun to paint! I really loved doing the hand. I may just have to do this hand again on something else. This sign will be calling a high school classroom home. I bet that classroom just flows with style!

I liked the sign when I saw it in the PB catalog but after painting it and having it in my home....I love it!

I hope she doesn't mind that I played with it for a little while...you know...staging and all...

It really felt at home here and was welcomed by all of my stuff but...

It has a mission ...a classroom full of teenagers! Farewell sweet friend...farewell~

love that sign, you did a great job! Where did you get those black lanterns on your mantel? I need something to decorate on top of my kitchen cabinets and something like that would look good.

That sign was fabulous. I hope it is appreciated by a room full of teenagers :-)
It does look good in that spot on your desk. I guess you'll have to paint one for yourself.

Glad you're back! I don't think they'll mind that you played with your creation for a bit. I like what you did with it, and I think it's PERFECT for a classroom (also love it with the typewriter!). :)

Welcome back. you were missed. We all missed our daily dose of Susieness.
I am loving the sign. You did a great job with the hand. It is easy to see you loved the piece as you staged it in a few places. Isn't it hard with parting with some of your projects?

Love it Susie! You are so talented! I have a question for you though, have you ever painted on glass? Am working on painting an old window and my paint keeps peeling off. I'm using regular acrylic craft paint. Any suggestions?
