I use to sell these plaques at craft shows but I have now decided to take a break and no longer need a truck load full of them hanging around the house. I use to store them in the cottage but now I am ready to move in and want the space.

I was wondering what in the world to do with this many ...

Can yall think of a way to unload so many of these darlings?

I use to sell them for 16.00 a piece but Im ready to get my sale on!

Would any of you be interested in one? Maybe two? Maybe all of them for an awesome price?

I'm ready to move into the cottage and need every inch of space so it would be great to find a home for these lil darlings.

Im taking any suggestions you may have...any offers too!

Now for those of you who leave a comment I will put your name in a hat for a free one!

Yipee! One down and many to go!

So leave me a comment and enter.

Leave me a good suggestion on how to sell these babies and you could win one!

So I will be here waiting on a good idea...

Dreaming of all the space I will once again have...

Good luck!

The plaques are 12x12 and hang from a satin ribbon...

Thanks for your help!
Hey Susie,
ReplyDeleteThese plaques are adorable!!!! Why don't you list them in your etsy shop!?!?!? I love the little black one with the nest and gold ribbon (last photo) so precious!!! You are so creative! Thanks for sharing all your creativity with us.
Renee McCranie
Hey Susie, why don't you do like the nester did and have a sale in your Etsy shop, announcing the date and time that the sale will start. She sold 100 tassels in record time.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the bird nest in your last photo!
You could donate or sell (for an inexpensive price) to a loving couple looking for items to raffle/silent auction to finish paying for their adoption. :)
ReplyDeleteWould you consider selling the damask/ nest in the second photo for $12? Pretty please.;) I have a sweet little spot in my nest for it... If not, I completely understand and will patiently wait until the sale begins, Sweets! Lori
ReplyDeleteI'm totally crushing on the nest plaques.....I think putting them on etsy is a great idea too.
ReplyDeleteI love the bird's nest one in the
ReplyDelete2nd photo and also the fleur de lys.
I think taht you should list them on your esty shop under sale items.
I would love to buy a couple.
Leeann x
Oh I love those! (especially the Me and My House one!) They are beautiful :).
ReplyDeleteMaybe it would help to sell them if you offer one for a certain price...but if they buy 2...it's a few dollars cheaper. :) That way, people are more inclined to buy 2 at once....thus selling them quicker! :)
I love the As For Me and My House one. Okay, I love more than that, but I was trying not to be greedy.
ReplyDeleteSuggestions? I don't have anything original or not already mentioned.
First time here and I see these! Very beautiful! I'm particularly in love with the Rooster :wink
ReplyDeleteSuper Sale on your Etsy! Combine a few ideas here, you are surely to "unload" them all!
Good luck!
and exactly how many do you have?
ReplyDeleteWell those are just cute. You could sell them in your etsy shop. Or you could rewallpaper your bathroom...
ReplyDeleteI agree...have a sale in your etsy shop!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely loved them. Sell them on etsy. I would love to buy or win one.
ReplyDeleteLizette/3hearts/Miami
I think so many people love your stuff, you won't need to have a sale...it's all about word of mouth!
ReplyDeleteYes Etsy is a great idea or you could just sell them here on your blog! Look like we all want one or two :)!!! I too love them all and have a special fondness for the nest ones!!!
ReplyDeleteI will be tuning in to see what you do!!
aw :) i want the thank heaven for little boys one! so cute

Hi Susie ~
ReplyDeleteYour plaques are great! I would be interested in purchasing a couple, in particular the nest and the fleur de lis with damask background. Please let me know if you decide to sell on Etsy! Did you make all of them! WOW! So talented, and a very busy gal!
Polly
Hi Susie,
ReplyDeleteJust like the others that have already posted I was going to suggest an Etsy shop sale. I'd love to have on to go with the gorgeous tassels I've bought from you. You are one talented lady!!
Robin in MD
They are all beautiful, but I am drawn to the fleur de lis as that is how I decorated my classroom this year!
ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful, but I am drawn to the fleur de lis as that is how I decorated my classroom this year!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have one of those beautiful plaques. Throw my name in the hat please.
ReplyDeleteI think they're adorable!! Maybe have a huge sale on your etsy shop! Or do a giveaway once a week? Have you tried ebay?? Beautiful work!
ReplyDeletemy suggestion! give them to me! ha! please put my name in the pot so i can win a susie original! thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love those! So cute!

Hey Susie! I think putting them on sale on Etsy is a great idea or you could take them all to your next craft show and mark them on clearance. Good luck! They are adorable!
ReplyDeleteOh, I will buy the black damask and white ribbon. It has the fancy fleur de lis on it and now words. It is the ninth one down in your listing of photos. Seriously!
ReplyDeletePlease email me at JoLW35@yahoo.com with the total.
Jo
oh i would LOVE one!! :-) you are so talented! (sorry- i have to repeat myself, but i'm running out of words! you're just THAT good)
ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful! I hope you can find a new home for them! :) My fave was the "as for me and my house" one!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Shilo
ETSY!!! :) They are SOOOOOO cute! I know I would buy one!
ReplyDeleteI love these! Keep us posted as to when the sale begins. I see a few that I really, really like!
ReplyDeleteI love them. Now I have a new craft I will have to try to make. Have you done a tutorial?
ReplyDeleteI agree - a craft show would be a great way to get these moving.
OK you could have a yard sale for $3.00 each and then reason with yourself that you are just needing to get rid of them OR you could have like a deptartment store has at the end of season clearance sale say EVERYTHING IN STORE 50% OFF for a limited time only OR Buy 1 GET 1 FREE Exclusions apply.(HaHa). Just put in your ETSY shop for a reduced amount they will go like hot cakes I hope I just win one. Hope you like my tidbits.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful!!! Have a craft/yardsale at your home why not?? Looks like you put alot of time into these...
ReplyDeleteBlessing's
Ann
Yes! An etsy sale like nester did would be great :) These are adorable. You are so talented.
ReplyDeletereading44654@yahoo.com
Susie - These are so cute! Put them on Etsy and you won't have a problem selling them!!
ReplyDeleteI say list them at a bargain price on etsy... I would buy one of the plaques with the nest or the rooster... I LOVE it and it would look really cute hanging in my kitchen:) Just be sure to let us know!!!
ReplyDeleteOh ok...so clearly I didn't scroll through everyone's comments before posting mine and several people have already suggested Etsy...how about Ebay or have a yard sale?
ReplyDeleteI love them all....especially the nest ones. If you don't want to list them on Etsy, I think a yard sale is a great idea!
ReplyDeletePut them in your etsy unless that's a hassle to list or just sell them on your blog. I like the fleurs and the rooster ones best!
ReplyDeleteManuela
cute plaques.
ReplyDeletep.s. i added you on my blog...did you not get my email yesterday?
From a fellow Louisianian, I'm loving the Fleur de lis ones! Is there a local craft fair coming up any time soon where you could sell them? I know in my little town we have one every fall.
ReplyDeleteI love the "as for me and my house".... You could sell them on your etsy for a discounted price...maybe even do a BOGO "buy one get one free", if you still had some leftover you could try listing them on craiglist. GOOD LUCK!
ReplyDeleteI agree with an etsy sale combined with a deal when someone buys multiples. And, maybe have some of your blogging buddies post that you are having a sale. Very cute stuff!
ReplyDeleteYou are just TOO TOO talented!! I love all your things.... I was thinking the etsy too so .. Are you coming to Canton Flea Market this year? Hope so
ReplyDeleteList them on your Etsy so those of us who would never get to see them at one of your shows would have a chance to purchase one, or two, or three!!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree - an etsy sale!
ReplyDeletetina
tinam61@yahoo.com
I want one, I just don't kbnow which one. I think you could sale them all from your blog!!
ReplyDeleteThey are awesome!
Excited for your move to the cottage!!
I love these! You should definitely sell them on etsy...I saw at least 4 I would buy right now~
ReplyDeleteI say have a cool sale in your etsy shop! I know that I would love to buy a few!
ReplyDeleteI see several that I love. Roosters, fleur de lis, nests, all the favorites are covered! An etsy clearance sale would be a good way to keep it organized, cause you know there might be some wrestling if too many want the same one. Keep us posted!
ReplyDeleteOkay, okay, okay....
ReplyDeleteI'll buy the fleur de lis on damask background...stop twisting my arm already.
I would definitely sell them on your Etsy site.
SUPER CUTE! Running a sale on etsy would surely give you more space in no time!
ReplyDeleteDitto on what everyone else said! I'd love the nest.
ReplyDeleteHi Susie, These are wonderful!!! You could list them on Etsy or create an additional blog and list them as posts...create a buy-it-now button on Paypal for each one listing it with a name or number....then tag each plaque with it's # to keep your inventory straight. Just look for the merchant services tag to create a button~ Those nest plaques are calling me!!!! xxoo, Dawn
ReplyDeleteTake them to a little home boutique and see if they would like to buy the whole lot of them wholesale. They could then have the headache of getting rid of every last one and you can just enjoy the money and cottage. They are really cute.
ReplyDeleteLove them all, but my fave is the As for me and my house one. Love that!
ReplyDeleteTry a local boutique to see if they would take them off your hands. I am sure they would sell. LOL, I will gladly take the one with the scripture verse off your hands. email me.
I see a couple that I would lovefor my house.
ReplyDeleteKim
klmiller76@yahoo.com
Not that my opininion counts for much, but I agree...put them in your etsy shop! I'm loving the nest ones and the damask fleur de lis one
ReplyDeleteWell, shoot fire! I want one too!! I love the black background and the nest or the fleur-de-lis! Way too cute! I'm with the other gals...do a big sale on your etsy shop...just send me one first!! Heehee!!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
susan
I would love the black and white with the fleur de lis. Please list them on Etsy....
ReplyDeleteLeigh Ann
You have some great advice, already, Susie. However, I do love those nests and wouldn't mind having a couple of them, should you decide to sell!
ReplyDeleteThose are very cute! I would love to see them in etsy!
ReplyDeleteOh, I would love to have one for the girls playroom!! The Thank Heaven For Little girls! For sure. I say go with the Etsy sale!
ReplyDeleteSusie all the ideas are great! Our church has yard sales to raise money to send our kids to camp maybe find a church or group looking to raise money and donate a few to them. and sale the rest on etsy Hope you find a great idea there all so wonderful:)
ReplyDeletejulie
These are soooo cute! With the Fall season approaching, why not set up a table at a fall festival, held locally, and sell them? You could offer discounts for those that purchase more than 1 so you can get rid of them faster. People are looking for deals right now and will soon be thinking of Christmas gifts. Any left-overs, you could sell on Etsy or Ebay too. Sometimes, churches have sales going on too. You could donate some to them for their benefit. You would feel good about that then. Whatever you could sell WITHOUT having to ship would be the quickest and easiest solution. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteHow cute are those??? I love them! How bout a Christmas Bazaar sale or something. Do like 2 for $15, etc. to get rid of them quick. Cute Christmas gifts, teacher gifts, etc. Etsy??
ReplyDeleteAnd I hope I win a freebie one!!
I think you should put them in your etsy shop. Thanks for all the wonderful ideas!! I've become a bienvenue junkie..
ReplyDeleteOh, you must list them on etsy! Your space should be free and clear in no time. They are quite cute...where have they been hiding all of this time you clever gal????
ReplyDeleteMorning Susie,
ReplyDeleteThose are absolutely ADORABLE!!! I have sent you an e-mail about one.
If I had any extra $ I would buy a bunch! I like nests and pretty flowers!
ReplyDeleteEtsy shop is the answer. I love them!
ReplyDeleteI say throw them up on Etsy. They'll probably go quick and you'll make a little money to boot. Hope I win one!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win one,, those are too cute.. Maybe you could list them on craigslist??
ReplyDeleteOh, I would love a nest or a fleur de lis. It looks like your commentors may be the key!!
ReplyDeletethese are so great...etsy is definitely the way to go
ReplyDeleteYou are SO talented! I love them all.
ReplyDeleteHoping I win. :)
I love the fleur de lis with the damask surround. I was wondering if you were going to do anymore of the keyboard plaques? I have never ordered anything from Etsy and don't know how to. How much were they?
ReplyDeleteIf you lived in Texas you could sell them in Canton (at a HUGE flea market) or at this sweet shop in Arlington called The Brownstone. Otherwise, Etsy is GREAT!
ReplyDeleteThese plaques are beautifully done - you're very talented!
Love the nest one in the last pic or the rooster with the black and white check - hey, who am I kidding? I love them all!
ReplyDeleteHow much are the Fleur De Lis ones? You know us Louisiana girls love our Fleur De Lis'. LOL
ReplyDeleteThought about adding them to your Etsy shop?
ReplyDeleteI wish that I could think of someplace fantastic for you to sell them. There is Esty but I also think perhaps a local craft shop or even better a consignment store. I see like this all the time and they are purchased quite quickly. I would purchase one if I saw it in a store like that. I hope to win one!
ReplyDeleteGood Luck!

I'd love to win a fleur de lis...it would go great in my new crafty area. :)
ReplyDeleteI definitely give the two thumbs up for the Etsy sale idea! :)
Etsy is the way to go and I see you are doing that! Ebay is a pain and craigslist...well not that great! Etsy!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work! It looks like you've sold a lot already. :) I can't wait to see your newly freed up space!
ReplyDeleteI agree a BIG blowout sale, on Etsy or even here on your blog.
ReplyDeleteI love them and I hope I win one! :)
I Love the nest with the gold bow. I agree with the others. I think you should put them on etsy also. Have a blessed day!
ReplyDeleteJuanita
i was totally going to say etsy {either that or just guve them all to me! ;)} and just saw that's what you decided. sweet!
ReplyDeleteYou could save a few and use them for c-mas gifts. Unless your friends and family already have one from you! ha! :)
ReplyDeleteI bet you are so excited about your little cottage! I'm green!
Love these! I'd love to win one. :)
ReplyDeleteChristmas is right around the corner; do you have any friends or family that you could gift them to? What about one of the kiddos teachers? I bet they would love one. You could also open a sale on your blog. One of the blog I follow had a garage sale on her blog and sold tons of items in no time. She posted the item with the price and people paid her through paypal. As items sold she went back in and updated whit items were gone. Someone else did this with jewelry and had a good turn out too.
ReplyDeletehttp://domesticprincessintraining.blogspot.com
Etsy, of course!
ReplyDeleteI agree about the teacher gifts or the Christmas gifts for neighbors/family/friends! I also love the "As for Me and My House, We will serve the Lord." That's always been one of my favorite scriptures!!!Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous! Whatever you don't sell on etsy, WOULD make great gifts!
ReplyDeleteDear Susie, I went to the dr. this morning and he told me what would cure me, would be some cute little placques with fleur de lis and such on them.......please advise....:-p
ReplyDeleteYes, sell them anyway you can, but only if you make sure I get one!! :)
Suzanne (after all we do have a similar name....)
Oh Susie these are TOO cute! I would ♥ one or two!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like Etsy is the way to go! I'm sure you'll sell them in no time!!
~TidyMom
These plaques are fantastic. You are so talented! I can't wait to see it all in your etsy shop!
ReplyDeleteI'm seeing a big etsy sale too... then you can use that money for something special for your new work place that you normally would not have purchased. See how I rationalized an extravagant purchase...
ReplyDeleteEtsy sounds like a perfect place to find homes for all these pretties. Once listed, I'm sure they will all be quickly adopted!
ReplyDeleteo sue,
ReplyDeletethese are soooo adorable... hmmmm now to choose, so many choices... LOL

Oh girl I'm absolutely in love with your signs!! They are all so beautiful and I agree that etsy is the place to go for this. I will be buying one if I can and I absolutely love the "as for me and my house" one!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck and I'll be looking for you on there!
I love your rooster ones! I collect them! I love your blog. Your creativeness is so inspiring! I love browsing it!
ReplyDeleteThese are just adoor'ablt!!! Get the pun from yesterdays post? Anyway, these are wonderful. I agree with everyone else re: Etsy. I can't wait to go over there and look at all your 'goodies'. Maybe I will win one. Thanks for the give-a-way opportunity. Cherri
ReplyDeleteI can't pick a favorite. They are all so cute.
ReplyDeleteThese are really pretty! I don't think you would have a problem selling them!! Maybe in bulk to a local home decor shop? Maybe give some away. For example I know our local MOPS organization is putting together a silent auction and needs donations? Maybe your local MOPS/school/church would love a donation of a few? Buy a slot at a flea market for a weekend?? Or make your new cottage be a shrine to your work and cover every inch with a plaque!! haha. good luck!
ReplyDeleteOh I love your plaques!!
ReplyDeleteYep, definately etsy!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the fleur de lis! Adorable! Yes, yes put them in your etsy shop!
ReplyDeleteLove them....especially the rooster! I hope you still have one on Etsy! Going to shop.....
ReplyDeleteI am another onethat was going to suggest Etsy! Great minds think alike!!
ReplyDeleteI am loving the ones with the nests and the rooster!!
XXDenise
Pick me, pick me...then esty for sure!
ReplyDeleteThose are so adorable! Can you try putting them in etsy or ebay. Put up an ad on Craigslist as well!
ReplyDeleteAnother vote for your Etsy shop!
ReplyDeleteI'm all for the Etsy sale or the discounted if you buy two deal... Looking forward to finding out, I'm eyeing a couple myself!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is quite the collection. I agree that Etsy is the way to go on selling them off. I myself will be heading over to look through all that you have.
ReplyDeleteOh, I can't wait to visit your Etsy. These are so pretty. laurie
ReplyDeletegirrrrl! us southern girls & our fleur de lis-just precious! etsy would be great. btw-i made one of the family name plaques(on pine)for myself & everybody i know loves it! thanks for that inspiration ^.^
ReplyDeleteWill you be listing more Susie?? They are soo cute but I see some in the pics not listed. I missed out on the one I really wanted.
ReplyDeleteSo cute. Thanks for the opportunity! :O)
ReplyDeleteI was going to suggest Craigslist, but those are just too nice to sell on the cheap. I have my eye on one myself.
ReplyDeleteThose are gorgeous! I especially love the one with the rooster!
ReplyDeleteI really love the plaque that has the verse on it (As for me and my house...). It's really beautiful and would love it in my new house.
ReplyDeleteAm I too late for the giveaway???? I hope not because those plaques are SO pretty! Pick me! Pick me! : )
ReplyDeleteThose are adorable! I love the one with the rooster and the one with the nest of eggs. Have you thought about trying to sell them in bulk on etsy or ebay for a discounted price? Thanks for the chance to win one. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI agree--List them on your Etsy. I am sure many people would buy them. I know I would love one!!
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute!!! Love your blog keep up the work! And if I don't win I will be stopping by your new shop!!!
ReplyDeleteYou could sell them at a local arts and crafts fair. We always have one right before Halloween around here. Or how about a lemonade stand type sale? Buy a plaque and get a lemonade free! My kids would love doing that for ya!
ReplyDeleteSince you want to get rid of them, why don't you make them a free gift with purchase? That way, you can sell your other Etsy stuff at the same time!
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
A lot of schools will allow you to set up a table in the teacher's lounge for a day or two. The teachers, office staff and PTA members love to buy handmade and affordable things. Since teachers can't get out and shop during the day, these make fabulous no-brainer Christmas or other occasion gifts!
ReplyDeleteThey are all super cute!!
Did you sell 'em??

First and foremost, let’s get one thing straight: Herve Leger Dresses“There’s an incorrect assumption about Herve that it’s only for evening,”Herve Leger sale Lubov told me up on the 18th floor of her Oktoberfest Costumes Times Square showroom and headquarters. “It can be worn anytime! People also assume that it should fit really tight, but personally I wear it one size bigger because I like the comfort of it while still getting the silhouette.”Herve Leger Replica These are the dresses that are coming into our stores and online now, and these are the dresses that are going to show up come Saturday, because as we pointed out in our runway report last season, an Herve Leger show is full of Herve Leger dresses.
