Every little girls dream...a playhouse! What happens when your little girl grows out of it? Momma moves in!

It's a small and humble lil place but I have big plans for her.

This was once a little loft for her baby doll stuff.

I found this neat old railing at an antique store and thought it would be perfect.

Perfect it is!

We moved the ladder to one side to save on floor space.

I can think of so many things I can store up there.

The walls are just studs and I plan on leaving them as is. I really like the cottage feel going on here.

Take a look at the ceiling...oh the love..oh the ideas!

So now this sweet playhouse is going to be my new studio. Madison and I have big plans for our new space. Our next step is having the inside painted. We will get a little professional help with this {thank goodness} yall know how I hate to paint..har har.. I could use your help though. We want to name our little cottage. Maybe something french? Any ideas?
It is past my bedtime (have to work tomorrow), and I have just spent an hour going through your older blog posts. It has been such fun. I'll be back often. laurie

ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
How about Bienvenue-Beaucoup ? I love your ideas and cleverness.
ReplyDeleteHow about "Maison Bleu"? (If you're painting the interior blue). I personally would love to see pale pink on the walls, which would make it "Maison Rose", I think?

Adrienne

Oh, you're soooo lucky! Ok so I was thinking "My little French cottage" would be a good name for your little cottage, but it translates to "ma petite petite maison française" in french. A bit verbose, no? Good luck.
ReplyDeleteSusie, this is going to be such a cute studio! I can't wait to see what you do with it and all the creativity that will happen, here!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting. A place where you can create and have fun all the while with your daughter beside you.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought for a name was French General...but that's already taken.
Here is an idea for your name:
bienvenue à l'espace de création
(meaning welcome to the creative space)
or how about:
bienvenue au chalet d'inspiration (meaning welcome to the inspiration cottage)
Oh how awesome! I am SO jealous. I'd love to have my own studio. Not sure what I'd create in there but nonetheless it'd be pretty fabulous.

First and foremost, let’s get one thing straight: Herve Leger Dresses“There’s an incorrect assumption about Herve that it’s only for evening,”Herve Leger sale Lubov told me up on the 18th floor of her Oktoberfest Costumes Times Square showroom and headquarters. “It can be worn anytime! People also assume that it should fit really tight, but personally I wear it one size bigger because I like the comfort of it while still getting the silhouette.”Herve Leger Replica These are the dresses that are coming into our stores and online now, and these are the dresses that are going to show up come Saturday, because as we pointed out in our runway report last season, an Herve Leger show is full of Herve Leger dresses.
