This weekend was pure Bliss! Not only did I beat the heat at the longest garage sale but I had two sidekicks to share the fun! I'm sure you know Rhoda on the left and Layla on the right.I'm the short one in the middle.
We had to enforce a few rules along the way...no hair pulling, biting, nor name calling if you didn't get to it first. Luckily, we were true ladies the entire trip and had no need to use enforcements. Although Layla and I did rock, paper, scissors for this sign. Come to find out...it didn't work for either of us.

We came upon some very neat finds like this shutter shelf.

Not only did we see plenty of neat objects, we came across some cuties like "Cosmo" the wonder dog!

Now how can you pass up these cuties!

If this desk would have been about 250.00 cheaper I would have brought it home to stay...awwww..

Interesting people were along the way. This gentleman was teaching Miss Rhoda how to tell the weather. He also gave us each a lucky penny and a hand painted thumbtack. A girl just cant get luckier than that!

It was fun to watch these girls in action!

These wooden spools..oh my! Layla and I both brought some of these home. Sweet!

So after our adventure we headed back to Rhoda's house and fell fast asleep only to wake up early and jump back in the saddle. We hit an Estate sale in a beautiful subdivision and after that we found a few more treasure at a antique mall. Rhoda found an extra special treasure but I will let her tell you all about it! This is what you get when you mix bloggers and shopping..hehe!

Can you guess what I bought out of this picture?
This was my first trip to a HomeGoods store. Can you believe that! I didn't walk away empty handed..no sir E'
What a great time we shared! Nothing compares to friendships made along the way.
After you see "The End" hang around for a few more seconds if you wanna see another blooper ... Thanks Layla... I've never been a blooper before...hehe.
Oh how fun! You three are so cute!
ReplyDelete{and I'm coveting that red bird cage in one of the photos!}
ReplyDeleteOh what a wonderful fun time you three had, Susie.
ReplyDeleteI loved going to look around the garage sale with you.

ReplyDeleteGood Morning Miz Susie,
ReplyDeleteYou are adorable in the video! Looks like your girls had a great time, wish we all could have been there *smiles* Love your vintage typewriter and $12 is a great price. Polly

Oh, how FUN! Looks like y'all had a great time and found some super cute stuff!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm back after seeing the video. As soon as I saw that last item, I knew it was a typewriter, before you got across the road!! My typing teacher told us, we were the typewriters, the "typewriter" was the typing machine!:-) Anyhoo....when I was in high school (back when dinosaurs really roamed the planet), we had a Smith-Corona Typewriter, like that one, in a lovely green! Brought back a memory.
ReplyDeleteI also have to tell you, I love the signs!
Aw, that looks like such a fun time! Not only is garage saling fun, but you were able to get out with some cute bloggers too!

I have never seen anyone else with that shirt and that shirt can only come from one place, one of my most favorite places to shop ever, The Queen Bee! I just love your blog and all your signs. I am always looking for someone to flea with. I am always on Range in Denham. I am sure you have been. It's so fun! We should meet up, girl!

ReplyDeleteLove that typewritter you bought! I had one just like that in a box when I was in college. ( Dark ages when there were no computers!!)
That cracked me up when you picked up the urinal. That’s why I have a hard time looking at stuff without my arsenal of hand sanitizer!

How much fun! A few years ago my best friend and I attended the longest yard sale (the TN section!) and we had such a great time. Whenever I look at some of my treasures from that weekend I still smile and think about that girl-time we spent together...thanks for sharing your fun with all of us!
ReplyDeleteThree beautiful gals having so much fun! Love it!
ReplyDeletebe a sweetie,
Shelia :)
Girl! You were in my hood! The white piece of furniture that was $300? I live in the subdivision right behind that house! You were oh so close! I didn't find anything at the yard sale per se, BUT I did buy a sofa at Akins Furniture in Dogtown! they were having big sale under a tent, so I kinda got something at a yard sale!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had fun!
Lou Cinda :)
When Heathahlee said in her comment, "I watched it over at Rhoda's..." I thought, "Waaaaaaait a minute! When did she get together with Rhoda?" Then I realized she meant Rhoda's BLOG. I'm such a goofball. Just wanting to make sure I didn't miss out on any fun ;)

First and foremost, let’s get one thing straight: Herve Leger Dresses“There’s an incorrect assumption about Herve that it’s only for evening,”Herve Leger sale Lubov told me up on the 18th floor of her Oktoberfest Costumes Times Square showroom and headquarters. “It can be worn anytime! People also assume that it should fit really tight, but personally I wear it one size bigger because I like the comfort of it while still getting the silhouette.”Herve Leger Replica These are the dresses that are coming into our stores and online now, and these are the dresses that are going to show up come Saturday, because as we pointed out in our runway report last season, an Herve Leger show is full of Herve Leger dresses.
