Today We Celebrate!

I have spared y'all greatly with this post. My first thought was to announce my daughters birthday by sharing a shot of my very pudgy belly at 8 months. She came early..no surprise there. Instead I share her passion.

While I started preparing my workspace {kitchen counter top} for my new signs,I looked over and she was doing the same.

She had her brushes and paints neatly lined up.{Her's of better quality,I must admit}

She is nine today. She is full of dreams and soon to be birthday cake {you know how I love cake}. Oh how I need the Lords help on this one. She follows me so closely. She watches. She listens. She wants to be just like me. Help me Lord...keep my footprints in line for she walks close behind~
Happy birthday my little one, Love Momma

Happy b-day little Susie!!! I know exactly what you mean about footsteps. We must tread lightly and lead them down the right path. For we want them to learn from our mistakes and not endure them as we have. To see the message in all things. And yet above all: Live life to the fullest while serving the lord.
P.S. If that cake tastes a little dry...just add a little frosting!!!

Big birthday wishes to your daughter. They do watch us closely, that's why God gives them to us, so we can raise them up in His love.

Enjoy the cake (I so love cake too)

Hugs,
LeAnn:)

The biggest challenge of being a mom, especially to girls, is being a good example of the kind of woman we want them to be when they grow up. This is no easy task but it sounds like you are doing a great job!!

Happy Birthday Little Miss!!!!

(Have some cake for me...I'm on a stupid diet!!)

Happy Birthday to your daughter Susie!

I can't wait for my new sign! I know it will be gorgeous. I will treasure it always and display it proudly. Do you think it should have a fleur-di-lis symbol on it as well? Where would it be placed on it if so? What do you think?

Thanks, ~Melissa :)

Oops! Never mind....I think it's the larger signs you put the symbols on. :)
