The little blue table that could...


While the chairs are drying I thought I would share the little blue table that I painted weeks ago. I put her in my DR and she just felt lost. I'm sure you can count all the reasons why NOT to put this table here. I know I can. Number one...the color.

Oh I do adore her color but she feels more at home here. Just look at her shine! She even draws your eyes up to the ceiling. Yes,it's blue too! Now I know not everyone can paint their ceiling blue and love it. I understand and I was one of those people till I did it. I love it!!! It just pulls this room together and who could not use a bit of color in a beige room.

Added a few lovies...

And a new look is born!

  2. I lvoe that blue. I want to find a place for it in my house...the masterbath perhaps.

    I also don't have enough guts to paint my furniture such fun colors. I totally should though. Or go buy something at a yardsale at least to play with. I am a coward when it comes to decorating. Totally not me in real life though. I should so fix that!!!

  7. Love that blue! I have a redo in my blog that is lime green and pink polka dots! Hop over and see when you get a second! I'm having a give away next week to celebrate my 100th post!

    I LOVE those chairs! I just saw some...somewhere along the road last week!! And I thought they were too yucky to pick up! Wrong! I'll be on the lookout!!

  8. The table is great, and I love where you put it. That blue ceiling is FANTASTIC! I would love to paint my ceilings, but I am gonna have to get around to scraping them to make them all flat first, and that seems a but overwhelming at this point. Yours however, are painted ceiling perfection!

  11. Most Busy Little One! What a darling table and yes, I love it where you have it! The color is beautiful and I LOVE your blue ceilings! I would love to paint mine, but in order to do that I would have to scrap off all the old nasty popcorn ceiling (&#$@~ I hate that stuff!

  26. Love that blue...will you share who makes it and the color? The table looks perfect up against the blue wall with beadboard. I'd love to see pics of the ceiling too. I think painted ceilings are beautiful!
