While the chairs are drying I thought I would share the little blue table that I painted weeks ago. I put her in my DR and she just felt lost. I'm sure you can count all the reasons why NOT to put this table here. I know I can. Number one...the color.

Oh I do adore her color but she feels more at home here. Just look at her shine! She even draws your eyes up to the ceiling. Yes,it's blue too! Now I know not everyone can paint their ceiling blue and love it. I understand and I was one of those people till I did it. I love it!!! It just pulls this room together and who could not use a bit of color in a beige room.

Added a few lovies...

And a new look is born!

I learn something new everytime i visit your page :) Love the color my dear...reminds me of your background. {Very soothing}

I lvoe that blue. I want to find a place for it in my house...the masterbath perhaps.
ReplyDeleteI also don't have enough guts to paint my furniture such fun colors. I totally should though. Or go buy something at a yardsale at least to play with. I am a coward when it comes to decorating. Totally not me in real life though. I should so fix that!!!
Looks beautiful....
ReplyDeleteperfect in its new spot!
ReplyDeleteoh susie - it looks precious. I LOVE the color you chose to paint her :)

The table is great, and I love where you put it. That blue ceiling is FANTASTIC! I would love to paint my ceilings, but I am gonna have to get around to scraping them to make them all flat first, and that seems a but overwhelming at this point. Yours however, are painted ceiling perfection!
ReplyDeleteThat redo is done to perfection. I would love to spend some time in your home and just stare!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it! It looks so fresh!
ReplyDeleteMost Busy Little One! What a darling table and yes, I love it where you have it! The color is beautiful and I LOVE your blue ceilings! I would love to paint mine, but in order to do that I would have to scrap off all the old nasty popcorn ceiling (&#$@~ I hate that stuff!
ReplyDeleteYou are so energetic! I need some of your vitamins!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Love the cute, blue table!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow...I'm in awe. You painted your ceiling blue? I'd never ever think of that in a gagillion years. Ever. I think that instead of HeathahLee and I coming down to see you that you need to come up here and help me decorate my house! I'm serious. I'm severely decor challenged.
ReplyDeleteI really like your ceiling painted blue. I am actually going to paint my porch ceiling blue, so when I look up it's like the sky.
ReplyDeleteLove that color and it looks great on that table!

ReplyDeleteYou know I love that blue table AND the blue ceiling. So pretty. :) You just might need to get you some of that beadboard wallpaper. I'm telling you, it is SO easy to work with.
ReplyDeletePretty! Is that an old sewing machine table? The kind that flips open and has a hole for the sewing machine to go in? At any rate, I like it!
