We Made It!!

We made it!!!!

I couldn't be prouder of him

He was so excited to finally make it this far...I was too!

After the ceremony we had a few friends and family over to par'take in some food and

memories. We all crashed around midnight and I was so glad Jesse was home safe and sound in his bed. I was so worried he wanted to hit every party after ours was over. Thank goodness he was pooped and went to sleep instead.

We woke up to a sink full of dishes and.....

breakfast! Oh the glorious left over cake..!!

Now I know y'all have just been sitting on lil pins and needles wondering how my hair turned out... Not too bad.

It would have taken more than a hair malfunction to wipe that smile on my face. It's all over now and the real worrying begins. He left for the sandy beaches on Saturday. He asked me not to call often and embarrass him in front of his friends. Lets' just say HE called me six times...I called HIM ...none. That's my baby...smiles~

WOW you all had an outdoor graduation.....we have ours at the P. Mac at LSU tomorrow night at 5:00pm.
Can't wait till it's all over.
I know EXACTLY how you feel though on many of these things you mentioned.....

AND my hairdresser cut my hair a bit too short for me the other day...of course...so I know how you feel there too.

Miss Priss is leaving 5 days after she graduates.....for AFRICA though...at least Jesse is on this Continent. HA! I'm glad he's called and checked in with you all.

We always take our family out to eat after graduation so we will be at "Boutin's" eating seafood.

No party for us.. we don't have family down here so it makes sense for us to do this instead. HA!

Then Miss Priss will come home with us and go to bed because her boyfriend is in Africa right this moment (on a different missions trip) and she is waiting on him to get back on Thursday to celebrate~!
Then she leaves for her trip.....crazy how this has worked out.

Awww girl...what a weird feeling it is huh? This graduation business.
This is our last one to graduate.
Just hang in there...you have TWO more to go. HA!
Glad that all went well for you all...pray we do well too. I know I'm gonna cry. Ugh..
Talk to you soon.....Joyce

See... all went very well indeed.

Hugs for you as the next few days will be hard on you.

Just remember that there are some that will listen and some that will just hold your hand and then there are some of us that will smile.. pinch your cheek and tell you.. "Susie my dear, this is the next step into motherhood, so hang on for the ride."

You are a good mother.

Looks like Jesse had a very nice graduation. Your hair looks great! My oldest is 3, but I know it won't be long and I'll be in your shoes. I don't know whether to cry, smile, or both.

Congratulations to Jesse, and I will pray for his safety while in FL. I'll pray that he keeps calling often. I am still that way w/ my son. I want him to call and then when he calls and I am totally not expecting it I jump to the conclusion that something must be wrong. You never get past being a Mama. Have a blessed week. Jackie

Congrats Jesse!!

Susie, you look like one proud mama. I know I'll feel the same one day when my little ones graduate as well but I'm so not hurrying it along. Why can't they just stay little? Where in Fla. was Jesse coming? I'm in Jacksonville.

3LittleByrds said...

Susie, Panama is about 3 hrs. from me or alittle more. I'm near Jacksonville Beach. I'm about 45 minutes from it if that. I'm also about 1 hr. away from St. Augustine Beach,Fernadina Beach, and Amelia Island. I'm about 2 hrs. if that from Daytona. :) I have lots and lots of beaches around me.

I particularly love your posts about your son. I have two;) They are much younger but I can see what I have to look forward to when you write about your son. This is huge that he graduated. It is amazing what one can overcome! And your posts always are so full of love. I can imagine myself in your shoes, feeling the same things.

Thanks as always for sharing!

I am so glad for you that the day went well, and I hope that my Cameron's graduation goes off as well this Sunday. He will then head to FL for a week with friends, and I will be worried sick until they pull back into town. This mothering stuff is about to give me a massive migraine!! Congrats -
