A stolen tassel giveaway!

See this tassel?

It no longer exist in my home. My sister came over to check on me {I thought}. While here she decided to kidnap my blog on it's 300th post {I know..I know..!} and swipe a tassel that I no longer have to give away to some lucky reader on her blog. Oh the nerve...she didn't even bring me a get well card. Can you believe it!
Well being the wonderful, kindhearted,YOUNGER sister I am.....I have decided to make a very special tassel. It may just be the prettiest tassel I have ever made. I have missed making them so much I have a lot of creative energy to let loose on one. So if you would like to own a extra special "stolen" tassel just head over to sisters blog and show her some love.

Just a note on that foyer I showed you yesterday. I hated it! I didn't like the birdcage...the mirror...the whole set up was just wrong. I changed it all before my party and I'm still not sure if I'm in love with "the look". Do y'all ever get this way? I like the color on the walls but I'm just having trouble getting it right. Will keep you posted.....ps..feeling a little better...smiles!

  4. ...i already visited the sisters blog and entered...i hope she found her mean girl! i think the new color on the walls is great, but the bird house was also very light so it did not pop the way you might like it...perhaps something kind of rust or antiqued-distressed soft black would pop against all the lovely light and bright. glad to hear you are feeling better!

  6. Susie, I bet that when you play with your accessories some more you will love the new look. I always seem to have to live with things for a few days and let it sink in. I have confidence that you'll be showing us another beautiful vignette in no time at all.

  12. You and Missy crack me up! Reminds me of my realtionships with my sisters. REally...aren't sisters THE best? Even when they come over disguised as concerned caretakers only to steal a non-existent tassel? Yes ma'am they are! Glad to hear you're feeling better.

  13. I rearrange this weekly. I get bored fast! Already entered in your sisters stolen tassel giveaway. If I don't win I'll just have to wait until you open your etsy back up again. I was hoping to get one of those names signs for Graham's K teacher gift this year. Looks like I might have to give it a go myself - I hope its legible! ;)

  17. Susie,
This is a hoot! Remember the old game, or maybe I only remember it because I am old, "Button, Button, Who's Got the Button"? You two could play "Tassel, Tassel, Who's Got the Tassel"?

    Thanks for sharing the laugh.

  19. Trouble with paint and getting the look "just right"? Honey, that's my life! I'm up and down, back and forth. Just when I decide it should be "x" I realize why it would be much better as "y". My house is a screaming example (right now) of my mind changing moods.
Perhaps it's the stark white that's throwing you? Maybe adding something? I can make up my mind for other people, but for me? I can't choose white or cream. I'm pathetic.
