Oh Happy Day!!! That's what I thought when I paid a visit to my friend Layla . She introduced me to a new friend...the drop cloth!

I know you must be thinking I have gone and lost it but this has just opened my eyes to so many projects. I took myself to the Home Depot and bought two of these. See them on my chairs....Hmmmmm.

Why didn't I ever think of this? Guess that's why I blog and have friends like you! See this sweet fabric?I call it that now because its just too good to be a drop cloth. Remember the boards I made a few days ago?....Hmmmmm. Now your thinking!

For starters I just pulled mine out of the package, ironed, and hung. That easy! Please pardon the blinds but I had to close them to stop the glare from coming in. They are usually pulled all the way up and you dont even see them...

My husband just laughed and was so excited that they cost under ten dollars each

You would never think drop cloth while feasting your eyes on these babies. Oh happy day!

Could it get any better? Oh yes it did! My friend Stacy was so sweet to send me this curtain that I have been searching for. Oh happy day! My world is a better place..my home is a better place...my heart is a better place...because of you!
Your curtains/drop cloths look great! I bet they would be great to use to upholster chairs.

Love your drop cloth curtains! I've seen slipcovers made from them, but never thought of hanging them. I'm glad you found your shower curtain. I bought mine in February, and have just started putting the guest bath together around it. I move real slow...
ReplyDeleteKatherine
Drop cloths for curtains? Never would have thought of that, BUT they look beautiful!!! Great job!!!
ReplyDeleteI think you just found me my new porch curtains! Sweet!! Layla is amazing!
ReplyDeleteYour curtains look great! I have a chair that I "slipcovered" in a dropcloth and we love it! The kids can't destroy it and if they do, I'll just go buy another! Another great thing is that they get softer with each wash. Our chair is so cozy now, it's been washed around 4-5 times.
