Y'all were right! Its knobs for Madison's dresser. This dresser belonged to my oldest son Jesse. It held all of his little gowns and socks then was passed down to Kaylee. Now Madsion gets to enjoy it.

It now sports these "grown up" knobs I painted. Guess y'all have a hint of where we are going with this room..

Right again! Madison found this adorable pillow and fell in love. We have yet to find the perfect comforter but the fun is in the hunt, right?

Now that the dresser was complete I wanted to start on something special for her wall. I started painting "her surprise" and was not feeling very well. Marc was just returning home from a trip out of town to find me in bed. Ick... I think I have the flu. Aches and fever are about the only thing that's keeping me down. I just cant wait to feel better so I can get back to that unfinished wall. If you know me even a tiny bit, unfinished paint projects drive me crazy!! So as soon as the fever breaks and I get some energy flowing once again...I have a date with a very special 8 year old and a paint brush.
I love the zebra print and can't wait to find out what's going on the wall! Whatever it is I'm sure it will be fabulous.
ReplyDeleteOh poor Susie I hope you get back to feeling better very quickly!
ReplyDeleteThose knobs are great on the dresser and LOVE the pillow. You might remember we did my daughters room in black/white (zebra) with hot pink accents. We ALL still LOVE it! Can't wait to see more, more, more......
My home computer is going into the shop this morning. I hope it gets fixed quickly cause I have a hard time with hubbys laptop. It also leaves when he goes to work. :(
We are decorating my daughter's bedroom and she has fallen in love with animal prints too. We are currently on the hunt to see what we can find. It's so exciting! I cannot wait to see what you are painting, but I surely hope you feel better soon. It's no fun being sick.
ReplyDeleteGreat so far! Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteTalk about a foxy room! Can't wait to see the comforter you all end up with, and I sure hope you get better soon. Being sick is rough, but the flu is terrible. Get better soon!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you're feeling bad. Hope it doesn't stay around too long.
ReplyDeleteThe room is looking great.
We're getting ideas - my little one wants to redo her room this year too.
Feel better.
Your knobs are great!
ReplyDeleteGet well soon. I think we are all living in fear of germs at this point. If you do think it's the flu, head to the doctor.

ReplyDeleteI'm doing my 9 year old's room over too. Makes me sad, they grow up so fast, she doesn't want flowers and bunnies. We have been collecting "big girl" stuff to get it done. Her b'day is in May and I want to have it done for her...can't wait to see yours so I can get some ideas!

You are such a good MOM!!! Good timing with the beautiful new room! I can just feel the love in your posts. My heart aches for everyone involved with these growing pains of childhood and the reality that the outside world is not always kind. It does bring all of us closer to each other and strengthen our character along the way but...darn it, it hurts! Feel better soon-this stomach flu bug is the pits.

ReplyDeleteFirst and foremost, let’s get one thing straight: Herve Leger Dresses“There’s an incorrect assumption about Herve that it’s only for evening,”Herve Leger sale Lubov told me up on the 18th floor of her Oktoberfest Costumes Times Square showroom and headquarters. “It can be worn anytime! People also assume that it should fit really tight, but personally I wear it one size bigger because I like the comfort of it while still getting the silhouette.”Herve Leger Replica These are the dresses that are coming into our stores and online now, and these are the dresses that are going to show up come Saturday, because as we pointed out in our runway report last season, an Herve Leger show is full of Herve Leger dresses.
