Bloggin' gone real!

When I started blogging back a year ago I never imagined I would make real friends. Well to my surprise I met the sweetest lady. She has been with me from the very start...like when I would chat my little head off for days and never get a comment. She was still there..reading.

For a whole year we have tried to get together and "do" lunch. I guess I forgot to mention that I was lucky enough to live just minutes away. How cool is that! This is Joyce...let me just tell you the pleasure was all mine. Adorable describes her. I true Proverbs woman. God knew what he was doing when he put her in my path.

She knows me well...a little brown cross tassle love...Thank you Miss Joyce for a wonderful lunch. When your blog world crosses over into your everyday life it's wonderful. It makes me all the more exicited about Blissdom. If you have never met one of your blog friends and get the chance. Jump on it cause its so worth it~ Also Im sure you may have noticed that cute little button on my sweater. Yes, it's a Kimba made...want one? I smile everytime I wear it.

  23. Meeting bloggy friends is such a blast! I have gotten to meet a few and talk to some on the phone. I wish I could make it to Blissdom, but it just did not work out. Its a real bummer too, because I only live like an hour and a half away. :(

  25. Looks like you had a great day! I've never met, in real life, a fellow blogger. But I have met a few friends from my online decorating groups. It was as if we had known each other for years!

I did meet a reader the first year I was blogging. We "bumped" into each other. She recognized me.

  29. I've stepped out of my comfort zone not once, but twice! I met up with 2 fellow blogging friends and what a treat! These 2 ladies are jewels and I felt such a connection...a connection with total strangers! Although they weren't total strangers because I knew so much about them already from their blogs! So glad you stepped out of your comfort zone too!

  30. Looks like fun! I've only ever *really* met one person I've met online, and she was from a scrapbooking forum rather than being a fellow blogger, but she was still really cool and I glad I met her! :)

  32. Susie, I am sooo jealous. I hope one day to meet you and Joyce also. Guess it would have been sooner if I had not moved back home. I knew that you would click, because there's something about your smiles that are intoxicating. I am so happy for both of you. Have fun on your trip.
I will never post pictures of my house again! Hugs, Pat
