I know you must have heard about this Blissdom conference by now. I know I have sat back and dreamed about going. They really have some awesome girls that will be there. Some girls I would love to meet and have lunch with. It would be so much fun to hang out with them and take in all of their greatness. Kinda like a big slumer party. I want to go so stinkin' bad. Whats holding me back... a ten hour drive and a few pennies. Im going to pull a few strings and paint my heart out and if maybe ...just maybe it was meant for me to go I will be able to go. Im so not charging this trip (even though Im so tempted). Lord give me strengh!!! If you are going I would love to hear about. It will make me work harder at getting there. Thats half the fun ~ Wish me luck
Oh goodness! I'm going! I would be so thrilled to meet you in person!
ReplyDeletePaint! Paint! Paint!
Kimba
Surely you'd be driving, right??? I know you would have a blast...as long as you still have time to meet us in Branson!
ReplyDeleteI would love to be there, too! But can't this time. I'll be praying for you - hope you make it there on cash!
ReplyDeleteYou are right it would be so much fun, but the long drive and funds will be keeping me home too, but that is OK I am sure we will hear all about it. Jakie
ReplyDeleteOh yea - I am with Kimba - paint away. I just posted about our big slumber party that we're having there and used the same exact words. We have a spot left in our bathtub, if you want it. Kimba, Rhoda, the Do it yourselfer and I are sharing a room. Yipee!!! Praying you there!!
ReplyDeleteI'm going! I will pray that the Lord opens a door for you to go, too!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like so much fun!I love to hear about all the girls who are going. I know they will have a great time. BUT...I have to tell you something....THANK YOU for sharing your real life side. There are so many people who think they are the only ones unable to do what they want due to a little money shortage. I appreciate that you will share it!! Money comes and goes. So maybe next time! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI don't even know what it is but I love BLISS. Good luck...paint..paint...paint...and pray.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you...I'd SO LOVE TO BE THERE.....but I'd have to drive even further...or fly. Can't happen this time. But I do want the blogger scoop from everyone there!!!
ReplyDeleteI know it will be a blast!
Suzanne
Ooohh, I hope you go! It sounds like so much fun and lots of bloggyiness to soak in!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your newest idea for your Etsy shop.
Love daughter's new car, she's a lucky gal to have such great parents!
Ok! I must be living under a rock somewhere because I haven't even heard of this conference. I will have to go over and check it out. I hope you sell enough to pay for it.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog topper. Such a beautiful family.
Ruth
I hope you can go - it's more like a long plane ride and no cash for me so no can do.
ReplyDeleteStart painting! You can do it!
I know, I want to go, too. Hey, if you do get to go, and you come up through Memphis, PLEEEEEEZE let me know so we can have lunch or something! I doubt I'll be able to, because I'm going to be working my fingers off getting ready for a craft fair in May, so all my pennies will be going to make tassels! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I feel your pain. I want to go soooooooo bad! I'm in the same boat...10 hour drive and $o budget. Maybe next year. A girl can dream! I hope you get to go. Paint your little heart out...good luck!

It would be only 6 hours for me, but I won't be able to go. I hope you get to go, Susie!!
ReplyDeleteOh I looked at this post early this morning and went to the website you were talking about...that is a pretty neat thing to go to..hope you make it there...maybe I can go to this next year...Nashville is not that far from GA...
ReplyDeleteOh if you find time come over and give me some advice on a bathroom issue if you don't mind. You always have great ideas.
I hope you can go!
ReplyDeleteHi Susie, Guess what I got in the mail today! I pulled out of the driveway, going to get the kids, and saw where the mailman had left a box for me in the passenger seat. I was opening it as I drove! LOL! I LOVE my sign! Thanks for doing such an awesome job! Do you mind if I copy your picture...the one with lots of them (and names) in the pic, so I don't have to reveal my last name to the world! LOL! I wanted to post it on my blog, but still retain a little security! Never know who may be lurking about! :) Let me know if I may borrow your pic, and I will try to post it Saturday. Thanks again...I LOVE it! ~hugs, Rhonda
ReplyDeleteSusie - I got my plaque and love it! Can you email me? cajunbyte@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteHey there! I just ordered the initial sign...can't wait!!! Looks like you had a great Christmas! Just curious....I noticed a picture frame in a post from a while back, it was black distressed. Did you make that?? I need a new picture frame to go with my initial sign, just curious if you made those. Thanks!! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSusie, I hope you get to go. Sounds like it would be a lot of fun. Best of luck to you. Hugs, Pat
ReplyDeleteI hope you can join us! It'll be so much fun. But I know what you mean about the distance and the $$. I had the same issues, and it took me a long time to finally make up my mind and commit to it. I'm dragging my poor husband along with me so I don't have to drive that far alone, and then we'll stay a couple extra days and make a mini-vacation out of it.
ReplyDeleteI guess I am the only one who doesn't know about Bliss..dom

First and foremost, let’s get one thing straight: Herve Leger Dresses“There’s an incorrect assumption about Herve that it’s only for evening,”Herve Leger sale Lubov told me up on the 18th floor of her Oktoberfest Costumes Times Square showroom and headquarters. “It can be worn anytime! People also assume that it should fit really tight, but personally I wear it one size bigger because I like the comfort of it while still getting the silhouette.”Herve Leger Replica These are the dresses that are coming into our stores and online now, and these are the dresses that are going to show up come Saturday, because as we pointed out in our runway report last season, an Herve Leger show is full of Herve Leger dresses.
