***** UPDATE**** After a long night of pulling hair, naming my computer, and almost watching the sun come up ...Here she is. I like it because I did it myself. I'm not sure if the bird will stay but she was easy and it was getting late. I even added a third side. I know you probably know the fancy name for it but roll with me cause Im a bit sleep deprived. 3:30 Am ,I was done....down for the count. Oh the pride in learning something new. Oh the stupidity in being a tightwad~
Your at the right place...Im just fluffin' my nest a bit..in better terms...messing things up. I thought I would go for a new fresh look. Right... As you can see I have no idea what Im doing. Maybe cause it's 1:10am and I have Zero computer skills. So if you need a few good laughs during your day. Just keep checking back to see what deep mess Im getting myself into. Oh for love of mankind..why dont I just pay a few bucks and get some help, ugh!
LOL I totally understand!! I did the same exact thing a few times until I finally got it right!!
ReplyDeleteIf you get a chance, stop by my blog. I need some recipes for my digital scrapbook if you'd like to participate.
Have A Great Weekend! Kathy :)
I hear ya! Have you noticed mine's been kinda basic for the past couple weeks? I changed my blog to a three column. No prob. Now I can't find a premade template to fit it {that I like}. And I came *thisclose* to messing the entire thing up in the process. And I don't WANT to re-do every single widget in order to add certain templates. So here I sit with a pink background, and nothing fancy. *Pout*
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Miz Susie,
ReplyDeleteYou know atleast you've been able to change the background and stuff all along whereas I can't get mine to change no matter what I do! It's so frustrating! I have the ugliest blog on bloggyland *sigh* Good thing I have friends with pretty blogs so I can envy them! *smiles* When you get yours done maybe you can do mine??? *smiles*
Looks like you are on the right track!!!
ReplyDeleteSounds just like me! My site is total home cookin'! It took me a few days of living in blog word, way more than I should have been, to get it figured out... but hey, it was free! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like yours is off to a good start...bumps and all!
Hysterical! (I had to google that to see if I spelled it right...I didn't at first!) You and I must share some simiar DNA! I have no idea how to update my page...so your effort is well appreciated. AND it looks good!
ReplyDeleteYou're doing great.
ReplyDeleteYou can beat that mean ole computer.
You're a DIYer - keep at it, it's looking good.

ReplyDeletebrookengraves@hotmail.com
I've done the exact same thing! I ended up setting up a test blog to practice on so I could get everything right! I've deleted entire portions of my blog before!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah...been there! It's looking good so far, though! keep it up!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing great!

ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I need to do this over on my blog too, but I just can't find the time! I barely get to read all of your fabulous blogs!!
ReplyDeleteSusie,
ReplyDeleteI recently discovered the joys of the blog world and have been following your blog for a couple of months. My daughter peeped over my shoulder the other day and saw your family picture and said, "I know that boy, he went to middle school with me!" Then, when I looked at the signs you'd made for your daughter's school, I recognized some names from GPS. Wow, it's a small world cause we're neighbors!
I just downloaded my template so I can start edititng.
ReplyDeleteNevermind the fact that the only class I have ever failed was COMPUTER PROGRAMMING.
Everything looks good so far!
You are a far braver woman than I am......I am wowed. Great job, and the bird is so cute!
ReplyDeleteSuzanne
Looking good, Susie! I can't even get pictures to download today! I am so computer challenged! UGH!!! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend! ~hugs, Rhonda :)
Love the new look! The bird's cute, too.
ReplyDeleteLooks great...I have not clue even where to begin so I am impressed. I would have to hire someone.
ReplyDeleteMorning Susie,
ReplyDeleteIt is looking great.....I'll be watching to see how it ends up. Now get some sleep okay???♥
Your braver than I am...I'm afraid to mess it up! What's that saying? If it ain't broken...don't fix it. That's my motto!
ReplyDeleteToo funny...I kept reading thinking...what update..what other post did I miss. Did she help a wounded bird? Yep, I didn't get much sleep either. Good for you. I want to do something to mine, but when I tried and it said "save" it to hard drive so I don't delete everything...I ran quickly into hiding. I don't want to take a change deleting my whole blog.
ReplyDeleteAs frugal as I am, I may hire someone...sigh.
very cute...i can't see the bird...but i see the chandelier type thing.
ReplyDeleteif you want help...just email me (on my blog profile page)...i'm starting up a design business and I would love to help you (for free!)

ReplyDeleteI think it looks great but you can also get free templates from Lena at Simply Fabulous or the Cutest Blog on the Block. That's what I do considering I am also computer inept.
ReplyDeleteSame here I am lucky to have what I do on my blog....Barb
ReplyDeleteSusie you are so honest! I have limited computer skills myself. I want a blog, scared to admit though I may not be able to get it together, ha ha
ReplyDeleteGood For you! You've done a great job! I love it.

I really like that you have the middle and TWO sidebars!!!
ReplyDeleteOh brave one!
ReplyDeleteI bow to you for trying to learn a new skill. I wish I could be more like you!
I know what you mean...I have been fluffin my nest quite a bit lately...hehehe...and probably will do it many more times.
ReplyDeleteI love the new look. Very clean, simple and elegant. I may take a stab at changing mine soon.
ReplyDeleteBlessings
Lisa
I think it looks great! I just started blogging last week and like you...I change my living room around so naturally I'm going to change my blog. I have already changed it three times. I'm just happy to have found your blog and your Etsy store. I'm a Louisiana girl...born and raised living in Georgia. So, I love getting to see a little piece of home. I pray that we both have the mind of Christ so that we will be able to discern when it looks good. So go forth and Fluff!
ReplyDeleteI need to spiff mine up too!! Yours is lookin' good!!
ReplyDeleteJ picked up the 2 weeks worth of mail this morning. I'll be over to leave some feedback, at the shop, in a bit! We absolutely love the sign, oh yes we do!! I have a post, featuring the sign with a link to you, scheduled for noon (central) tomorrow.
Thanks so much!!!
you changed it! looks cute. I know mine is sort of bold and graphic...but I think you would like something a little bit more subdued and "nesty" LOL. I would love to do it...and help you out with your formatting (so we can see the whole header). Just let me know....txtricia97@gmail.com. Oh...and I'm super jealous of you going to blissdom!!!
ReplyDeleteIt still looks good. If you are unhappy, you could always take Jennifer T. up on her offer and trade your creations for hers!
ReplyDeleteI love it!!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't a CLUE how to do all that so I admire you. HA!
I am a chicken.....and won't change mine. Besides I like it well enough. But I like new things too. Just not computer things that I have to figure out.HA!

ReplyDeleteFirst and foremost, let’s get one thing straight: Herve Leger Dresses“There’s an incorrect assumption about Herve that it’s only for evening,”Herve Leger sale Lubov told me up on the 18th floor of her Oktoberfest Costumes Times Square showroom and headquarters. “It can be worn anytime! People also assume that it should fit really tight, but personally I wear it one size bigger because I like the comfort of it while still getting the silhouette.”Herve Leger Replica These are the dresses that are coming into our stores and online now, and these are the dresses that are going to show up come Saturday, because as we pointed out in our runway report last season, an Herve Leger show is full of Herve Leger dresses.
