Change...A good thing~

If you stopped by Friday night...

Or into the morning..You saw this blog going through a change.I tried yall. Really I did.

So when is a good time to change your look? Is it when you are heading off to blissdom and your blog looks like blah..

This blissdom has me on my toes..good and bad. I can no longer eat a piece of chicken without looking at my rear. Oh the insanity...I hope when I finally get there I will find that bliss Im looking for! Is there anyone out there like me who wants to look like you know what your doing without having to sell a kid. So this is what I came up with..simple I know. Yes..Im eating chicken as I type this. Darn it. Really I am. So where do you go to get your blog just right? Isnt it funny that we wait till we are close to facing that special someone to get our shine on... Somtimes thats how I feel when Im faced with some of lifes choices. I have time to get my shine on...Right? Today I going to make a promise to myself and work from the inside out. I would rather you see what's on my inside than trying to impress you with my oh so fancy blog(YEAH RIGHT) or my one pound that I thought I lost( but found again). Darn that chicken!

I still can't figure out how to change mine so I'm in complete awe at you for doing such a great job with yours! Everytime I try to change mine it doesn't take! I was a master at myspace but blogger hates me! So rest in the knowledge that you don't have the uglies blog on blogger, far far from it!!! I think it and YOU looks wonderful just as you both are!

Everything looks great, but you are so right, what is on the inside is the most important. Things can sometimes look great and still be a mess! Just be yourself. Have a great day! Jackie

PS Maybe you could help us all out by doing instructions on how you mangaged to come up with all these great changes. Jackie

I like the new look...I am not one for a lot of "clutter" so to me less is more!

You enjoy that chicken! We are southerners!!!! That and fried okra are what we're known for--and sweet tea!

Your blog looks great. I personally liked the picture of your family as the header! But that's me!! I'm a photo gal at heart!

Just enjoy yourself this week and don't stress over the blog. Your bloggy friends are interested in your heart--not the wrapper!

OK--I have a question for you! What type of sealer do you use on your wood pieces? I need to run to Lowes afterwhile! I painted my bathroom cabinets black and need a glossy sealer! I need help!!

Thanks so much, Susie! Have a great day!

Love ya,
Susan

Succumbing to stress is not pretty. Relax and be yourself. We are all in a process of changing anyway....so it's ok. You and your blog are pretty just the way you are. You don't have to be/look/or say something that you aren't. Smile and breathe.....
Love ya!

you are cracking us up...as far as Blissdom - come as you are. I am sure all these ladies right now are so nervous about meeting people IRL...that's exactly what we dont want, right? I know from your posts your sweet heart, so just come with a big bucket of chicken for all of us, and we'll down it together. Personally, so I don't get sucked into this whole "make myself who I am not thing" for the weekend, I determined that ever single thing I wear is going to be from my thrifting...yep, second hand or yard sales. Thought that would be fun, stay true to who I am, and not have to worry about going and buying that special something.
I so like real life better than being stuck behind the computer...I can hardly wait.

I had Sadie Olive do my blog early last year. I have tweaked and played with it since then, but it was worth every penny!

The real you shines through your blog! I've never met you personally of course, but I can tell that you are a great wife and mother, a creative business woman, you love the Lord and you would be a blast to be around! Everyone else will be able to see the same thing!

You're blog is turning out beautifully and you'll be proud that you did it yourself. Breathe, relax and be true to yourself!

Susie...your blog looks great and so do you! How far a drive is for you to Nashville? I still haven't decided if I'm going or not. I want to, but that 6 hour drive by myself is what is holding me back.

Gosh Susie...your blog looks good no matter how you fix it...I just love the fact that you take time to share all things with your new found friends here in blog land. Heck I just like the friendship that is made here. So no one is going to care how slim or not you are...Your beauty is within. It has taken me a while to figure that out myself. I am who I am.

Have a wonderful trip and be sure to come back with bunches of pics and stories of all the fun. Maybe next year I can plan to go to this. I would love to meet so many of the bloggers out here.

I thought your blog looked great with just the picture of your family! Love all the handmade things you make as well. Why not paint a sign to use as your header? I'm sure whatever you decide on we'll love it just the same! Hope your day is great!!!

I love the parts I can see - your whole background won't show up for me. Is this your way of getting us to look at your blog and not your backside of chicken?? :) We already know what a beautiful person you are Susie! Wish I could go to Bliss to meet you!

To be a self confessed not so smart computer person...you sure could have fooled me...and you did. Your blog is really pretty and I love all the looks you've had. The simplistic-ness...is that a word???.....is great.

I would have no clue how to change my blog. Mine was made by a very sweet friend's husband. I love your look.

You are so creative and your blog is great. I'm surprised you are worried. You are so talented. I read you often.

I hear you, girlfriend! I am still stuck on my blog. I'm struggling to lose weight. Also, the thought of going to Blissdom passed through my mind, but I automatically push it out b/c I'm not happy with the way I look right now.

I agree that it's what's on the inside that counts. :)

Joy said...

Why are you so worried about looks my dear?!?! You know we all love you and would read your blog even it it was written on a cave wall!
We'd do it because it is your inner beauty that comes shiny though in the words you type!

Nicole said...

I with you, I really didn't want to sell on of my kids to get a new blog design. Here is a site that helped me a ton.
http://sjhblogdesign.blogspot.com/
I think yours is looking really good, for some reason the header doesn't quite look centered on my computer, probably just my messed up computer. I agree with everyone else, it's you we love, not the wall you write on!

I'm so very blessed to have a husband that designs my blog stuff when I get the hankerin' to change.

Now, having said that, you have a beautiful blog with a beautiful person behind it. No need to change anything!
