Teachers gifts and for sale soon...


This is what my child is giving her teachers for Christmas. I hope they like them.

They have seen and bought everything I make at her school. It had to be something new and it had to be fast!

I had one piece of left over wood and cut it in half.

So they each get an 8x8 handpainted piece of goodness.

I didnt intend to wait till the last minute to make my teachers gifts. They are giving my kid the greatest gift ever....an education for petes sake! What was I thinking~

So just in case you are interested in one for your little self..


I will have them for sale after Christmas.

I will give a shout out when my Etsy store will be up and loaded again



I would love to hear what you think about them and if you have any suggestions. Dont you feel a giveaway is needed! Yes indeed... stayed tuned for that~

    I wonder do you ever make anything that just doesn't turn out gorgeous? How lovely those are! And everyone appreciates a personalized gift, I know I would. I can think of about 10 spots in my home where one of those would look fabulous...And I have a very short (5 letters - fast & easy to paint) last name, something to keep in mind if I happen to be lucky enough to be chosen in a future giveaway for one of those beauties! *smiles*

  15. I think any teacher would be thrilled to get one of these...so much better (and more personal) than the "teacher" realated gifts they usually get. How many coffee mugs and apple themed items can one person need?:)

  17. This is a wonderful gift for ANYONE not just teachers!! Love the look of it. When we can order them would it be possible to order whatever letter and word we want, ex. a capital 'F' and the word Faith, a capital 'L' and the word Love, etc. etc?? Can't wait.   23. Those are fabulous! Wonder if I'd get some cute loot like this if I started teaching again? I did personalized gifts for my son's teachers this year too. Any gift with thought and time put into it is appreciated so much more. I know you're daughter's teachers will love their gifts. Great job!

  34. I love that! I wish I was one of your kid's teachers! What a fun gift to get! One of my roommates (when I was single) was a 2nd grade teacher and she would come home with tons of mugs full of candy! We always laughed at how many Christmas mugs we had in our kitchen!

  36. These are awesome. I'd love to get one, do you think a last name with 10 letters would fit? I miss my 6 letter maiden name, especially considering my first name has 8 letters. Yep 18 letters in my full name now. But I digress. The teachers will love these.

    I do think a homemade gift is in order for those special teachers.
    Especially your gifts.
    Believe me.....I have been taking back LOTS of "returns" of "unwanted Christmas gifts" from teachers already.
    I don't think they would be displeased with this item at all.

  57. Well, as a former teacher, I have to tell you that it beats the usual bath gel & candles. Although those are great, something handmade and personal is just that much more meaningful. It goes to show you too that a fab gift doesn't have to cost a fortune. Great work! Love them so much I want to marry them...
