Wanna looksee...

Oh what a week it has been! My oldest turned 18 and I feel a bit strange I must admit. It feels as though I was just sporting that age around and remembering my Mom knew nothing... Yikes! I have become my Mom. He is still my little boy, although we had a momment today and he gave me one of those hugs every mom dreams of. I had to stand on my tippie toes. He is still my baby....smile

This weekend my sister came over and we took some pictures of some of the sweets that shes makes.

Im not sure If I ever told yall but she sews like an angel. She makes things that only float around in my head. Things I want but never can make.

After much pleading she opened her own Etsy with the help of her sweet son. Awwww, smile

Just look at these adorable little vintage aprons. Our Grandmother use to make these for us. I still have all of mine and would love to display them in my kitchen .

Missy finds the sweetest fabric to use...I just love these cherries. Maddy is 8 and this apron looks so cute on. I think she wants one for Christmas... hint hint Aunt Missy.

It would tickle my heart if you would take a minute and pop in to visit her. She would love it! She has a real job and isnt able to post as often as she would like.

So if you wanna take a looksee at her sweets just go to my side bar and you will see her "Missy". At her blog you will find her Etsy... I know Im long winded but I have missed yall so much! I had a show this weekend and was so blown away.. Lets just say God answered some prayers! Our show was GREAT! Now I get to start all over again and make more. I have a few more shows ahead. Im still trying to get some things together for my Etsy... I think I will have a cool sale if I can get some made. Trust me ... the prices will be great! I know how times are getting tight around the holidays... Let's just call it $12.00 Tuesday! Hope to see ya there! Psss.... not sure what happened to the order of my pictures... went a bit wacky. The last one is a close up of the Christmas stocking.... Take care~

I remember when my one and only baby boy turned 18, it's a very strange feeling, part man, part child, all your baby but oh so grown up. I have to tilt my head to look up at mine *smiles*

And your sister's handiwork, very sweet indeed. I know she'll do well, just like you. Missed you sweetie!

  32. For some reason when my son turned 18 in June this year, I felt 10 years older! Yes, as they get older and wiser, we get dumber. It does even out. I received one of the nicest phone calls from him when he started college this fall. It was basically thanking me for all that I had done for him (laundry, cooking, baking and so on). The best part that makes my heart warm every time I hear it is when our conversation ends, he always says "I love you mom." Even when his friends are around!

Love the stockings ~ such talent in your family!

    Jo
