If you have been following my crazy blog then you know I love MOSS! You can do so much with the stuff. I use it year round. Green in the fall? Yes indeed! It's monster moss... I just stuck it on top an old pot..added my favorite ribbon

You would know... Mr Crow decided to show up again!

A few of you asked about the plaques that I make. I did sell a couple on etsy. I have plenty to list so if yall would like to see them just let me know. As far as special orders ... I wont be able to take any at this time because I will be so busy getting ready for a show coming up. So keep checking and I will try to list a few today. Also a few of you asked about the tassels in Branson. My Mom works at a craft mall there. Im not sure of the name because I have yet to visit the store. I mailed them straight to her. Im thinking it's on the strip but to be honest I really am not sure. She has only worked there for a couple months. So I sent her a few to give it a try. I really dont like selling that way. Weird.. I know. I like to sell face to face or through etsy... I like knowing who is getting them. It's more fun that way. Hope yall have a great day!
Your moss pot is so cute! Is it real or fake? oops I mean faux? Perfect perch for that little crow. Jackie
ReplyDeleteI love your pot with the moss....and two of my crows are out in my decorations.
ReplyDeleteGosh I sure wish I could go to one of the shows you have your beautiful things at....it would be so much fun!!
I'll be watching for the plaques because they look really cute!

ReplyDeleteI am soooo glad I am working from home today...I will watch for your adorable plaques!!!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen moss like that. Where can you get them? Michael's?
ReplyDeleteHey girls! I bought the moss ball at a store in Baton Rouge called The Red Door. It is an awesome store.....!!!! It's just one ball covered in bumpy moss. I just set the ball on top of the pot. I never use glue because I like to change things up too much. You can use a moss ball or even cover a ball in moss. It comes in a sheet at any craft store. I bet yall can come up with some cute ideas... Have fun! Im heading off to the post office and to have lunch with my youngest. She still likes to be seen with me...imagine that! I will love it as long as I can.....
ReplyDeleteI love your monster moss! The crow is perfect on it! :) Have you been to Oops yet?
ReplyDeleteOk..where do you find those little crows? My husband and I are putting together a tree sort of like your branches and we can't find black little birds of any sort? Help..our tree will be no fun without birds.
ReplyDeleteVery fun, Susie! Love that little pot with all the moss and the bird.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope my daughter with hang with her mom for as long as possible!

ReplyDeleteHow cute!! Can you do me a favor? Try not to be fabulous for ONE DAY? :o) You DO know that after commenting I'm off to add pretty fall ribbons to my summer topiaries and with they were moss, right?
ReplyDeleteThe moss ball is great...love your ideas!
ReplyDeleteLove the moss pot....what a neat place for a crow to land:)
ReplyDeleteLove the monster moss ball.
ReplyDeleteI have some moss like that too. I got a bunch on clearance so I took the brown spray paint to some and gave them a light dusting to make them look more "fallish".
I have never used that kind of moss. Does it come in those big clumps? Where did you get it? It looks great!
ReplyDeleteI got my tassels today that I ordered from you and I love them! The green moss arrangement looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteI love your pot with the moss, and the crow on top completes the look.
ReplyDeleteOh, lets not forget the beautiful ribbon. Whatever you do, you do a wonderful job.
Blessings, Virginia
Love that monster moss, Susie! I've been thinking about doing something like that, too. I have an urn that is sort of silvery and chipped. I think I'll dig that out and pick up some moss.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiration!
you did such a great job! it is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love the moss pot! And I so almost bought one of those crows at the dollar store the other day! now I could kick myself for not picking one up!! Darnit! lol
ReplyDeleteok-i have seen a whole lot o f Giant moss-never knew what to do with it-or never really thought about it before.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame!
Who knew I was missing some fantastic craftiness!
Thanks for the ideas! Next time I head out to my favorite store-which I don't get to enough-I will definately be purchasing this!
You rock!
I love it! I've been wanting to do something with moss! Do you buy that at a florist? The moss that I've found at craft stores looks NOTHING like that. It's all kind of grayish and makes a horrible mess!
ReplyDeleteI was just at the red door today and that moss looks so fimilar! We run in the same circles!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Love your tassels and plaques too :o)

Where's your next show? Hope it's close. Hope you are having great weather like us further west. Hugs, Pat

“Women really dress based on their body shape. For example, Herve Leger Dress I’m very athletic. I have bigger shoulders and bigger bust bandage dresses herve leger and smaller in the hip area. So when it comes to Herve Leger, Dirndl Dress for me it’s really about A-line dresses because it gives me a hip but minimizes me on the top.”While there’s no doubt that Lubov and her husband, Max, design for women everywhere, you can’t help but imagine her stamping Herve Leger Dresses a mini-claim on a certain white dress and capelet pair when it was in its early stages. It’s a look we can imagine every woman instantly coveting when it’s available in April.
