Thought yall might want to see what I have been up to.

Just spreadin' a little fall fashion through the house

A little here..

And some more there. This arrangement I made by jamming two fall sprigs under a painted pumpkin. No foam..no glue.. no fuss!

Im still adding to the table as I go.

I have my eye on some glasses but just cant bring myself to pay full price as of now.

If you noticed that arrangement looked a bit low or flat...yeah I know. I like them kinda big like southern girls and their hair. I did have to refrain though cause I like to see my family's little faces while we eat.

Here's a shot of that candy corn garland. I have moved on to circus peanuts...sorry my sweet triangle sugar lumps... I must move on. The circus came to town! Do yall just love those things or is it just me....emmmm yum!

Every house must have one of these babies about now...

Spooky....

whimsey...

Found these little darlings last year for a dollar

Adding a bow can do so much!

So this is what I have been up to.. just getting back to normal one day at a time

I even spread a bit of fall joy outside. I think our windy weather is over for now. I'm getting ready for a show this coming Saturday. I cant wait! If any of yall live close to Diamond Head Mississippi I would love to see you. The country club is hosting a craft fair this weekend. Fun..Fun..Fun..
Wow, you really done some lovely tasteful fall decorating. I love it all. What i mostly love about your style is your abilty to retrain your creative juices. I am guilty of not knowing when to stop sometimes, therefore creating a hodgepodge.LOL!
ReplyDeleteYiippee!!! Diamondhead Craft Fair, I hope the weather is good and you make lots of sales! I'll miss seeing you, sob, sob!
xoxo!
The decorations are great! Wish I was never that craft fair. Have fun! :)

Do you think you could maybe move a few states east? A little closer to Georgia? :o)I'm so glad things are getting back to normal for you... what a rough few weeks you guys had! Your house looks beautiful and you'd NEVER know you just dealt with 2 hurricanes!
ReplyDeleteI made one of your "spooky crow trees" but after looking at yours again, I realize mine is quite pathetic. lol
I wish I was that creative! It looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGirl, you are back! Everything looks "fallicious!" :) The vignette behind your sink is rocking!!! :) Love the table arrangement! (And I like my hair big too! LOL!) Where did you get the berries things sticking out of the arrangement! Love them! :)

As much as I like candy corn you'd think I'd like circus peanuts, but I don't...too sugary...HA!
ReplyDeleteI love your fall decorations! And I agree, ribbons do make the difference!
Your fall decorations are all so pretty. I really like the candy corn garland - I haven't done it yet, but plan to. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to see you getting back in the swing of things. Your fall stuff looks great. I may have to break out my box today.
ReplyDeleteAs for Diamondhead, I would love to head down there but I have a baby shower in Starkville. It's about 3 1/2- 4 hours from us. I'll have to wait for Canton.
Have a great day!!
Love all your decorations, your house really does say fall is in the air. Much Love -- don't forget to come by left you something.
ReplyDeleteI love your pumpkin centerpiece. Simple and lovely! I'm also going to make me one of those little candycorn garlands...so cute!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as always.
ReplyDeleteI still think my favorite is the tree with the crows.
(I don't have mine up yet.)
Good luck at the craft fair - may you completely sell out.
Hi Susie, maybe it's just my computer, but I wanted to let you know I can't read your blog lately because that pretty blue color is too light... Beautiful pictures though!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! LOL@ "big like southern girls like their hair." This southern girl does not have big hair! Er....anymore! ;)
ReplyDeleteCute cute cute stuff!
Hi Susie
ReplyDeleteIt all looks wonderful and now I'm inspired to make a garland of candy corn for the light over the farmhouse table. I have two containers of the sugary stuff and needles and thread...I might be able to accomplish the feat!
Did you add your link at The Inspired Room, Fall Nesting thread? Melissa wrote they have over 162 participants now. I'm going over to check out a few places this morning.....before I get started on that garland.
Everything looks so great!! I love your "no fuss" arragement on the table. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteHi Susie, everything looks so pretty. I love the leaf garland thing on your outside light. I don't really have a place to put a wreath on my front door b/c of a stupid screen door, but I could do that.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Susie,
ReplyDeleteI LOVE all of your Fall/Halloween decorations!! I always enjoy when you show your decorations throughout your home....what ideas!!
I sure wish I was near you cause I would sure be at that craft show!!!!
Hi, Susie, glad you are getting back to normal. All your fall decor looks so pretty, my fave is your foyer table with the spooky tree & the pumpkin cloche. Looks great! Hope you do great at the sale.
ReplyDeleteAdorable!! I picked up some great pumpkins from Goodwill yesterday, can't wait to start placing them all around!
ReplyDeleteThanks for some much needed fall inspiration!
Your fall decorations are so lovely. I like my centerpieces "like southern girls hair too", but then I like my hair that way too!!!
ReplyDeleteYou have a lovely home.
Wow - such great taste! I hope I can edit as nicely as you have here. I love the spooky tree!
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by yesterday and leaving a comment! I live in central AR and have family in northwest AR. My husband's family is a little more south and west but still in AR so I'm all over this beautiful state! We are definitely Hog fans all the way in this household but we do have a few Tigers in the family - makes for an interesting day after Thanksgiving! I hope you stop by again!
p.s. So what kind of shows do you do?
Loving all the decor...What did you do with the circus peanuts? Would love for you to share!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty fall displays! I especially love the lovely table you've set, and the centerpiece...oh, my! :)
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the craft fair--wish I could go!

I love it all, as usual! I really love the rooster lamp and little built in shelf in your kitchen! How cute is that! Wish that I was a little bit closer! i love craft fairs, and one with your stuff-I would so be there! Dang! i don't think that my husband would let me drive that far! :)
ReplyDeleteLove it, love it, love it - of course! Thanks for stopping by....
ReplyDeleteYAY! YAY! YAY! Your back to happy again! I'm so glad to see that you're overcoming and movin' on with life. Things have been ugly for a while, but hopefully the worst is over and you can enjoy life again.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to have you back, friend. Your home is looking beautiful, as always, dressed in it's fall attire.
Love all your stuff Susie...but for the life of me I can't find those darn back birds. I have gone to every dollar store in my area and Walmart/Kmart and still no place. Even went to a couple of florist and no birds...What is going on...All the bloggers must have bought them little suckers...Dang I want some!
ReplyDeleteI really love your garland...I know I can find me some peanuts...Those orange little babys are so yummy! I can eat the whole bag and hide it from anyone who thinks they can get any...Those are my favorite!
Never heard of the craft fair..Wish I was close but I am in Georgia. Have fun though!
Love your fall decorations! Come on over to my blog and check out my Autumn banner giveaway.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fall things. Glad you will be able to enjoy yourself a little more after Gus!
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you and yours,
Everything looks wonderful. Thanks for all the great idea. I think I've done more fall and halloween decorating then ever before because of your cute blog.
ReplyDeleteSo I think I'm the only one without a cloche!!! I'm feeling leftout! Gotta get one forsure!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see you are getting back to normal. Your decorations are great & ya know I just love that spooky tree.
ReplyDeleteTake care, Debrak
Love all the little fall displays! It's just the perfect amount! I don't have one of the spooky trees yet and I'm just dying to make one! I've got to find a good urn for it. Love the little signs on the door knob hook too. Very cute! I WISH I was close enough to come to your show. That would be so much fun! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteHELP!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to make the candy corn garland and my corn keeps crackin' when I insert the needle!
I LOVE your site and have added you to my "favorites"!
YEA to you!

Glad you are back and all the fall pretties look wonderful. Wish I were close enough to come to your show, but oh well maybe sometime. Jackie
ReplyDeleteI'm going shopping tomorrow. I want to add pumpkins here and there.Your fall stuff looks so cute. I'm struggling right now with my dining room table. I like something big but hate when you can't see the person across from you. Oh, I'll probably change it a million times before I get tired and leave it. :-)
ReplyDeleteToday I actually bought something to re-decorate for fall. This will be a first. You've been an inspiration.
ReplyDeleteHi Susie,
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. I really like your table!
thanks for posting
diane
love it!!
ReplyDeleteSusie, I love all of it! Oh, I am wishing I was in your neck of the woods. I have a quesiton about the tassels, well really the shows...I have made a few and sold a few, but I haven't done in shows... I have been ask to do a show, but I just don't think I have enough made up. About how many do you take when you do a show? I would appreciate any tips you could give me. Nancy
ReplyDeleteI hadn't read your title, I jumped straight through to the lovely photos and my heart said, "it's fall ya'll" and lookie, that was your title. I haven't made one of those spooky black branch/tree thingies, but I love it. It's so fun to pop around and add touches of fall just waiting for it's full arrival. Have fun at the craft fair - here in Illinois we don't have anything fun this weekend.
ReplyDeleteSuzann
Your right, all the stuff you posted is fun, fun, fun.
ReplyDeleteI love it all~ you've given me so many neat and great ideas! Thanks for that hun! ~ Les
ReplyDeleteDecorating for fall reminds me of the wonderful things to follow...cinnamon spice and everything nice.
ReplyDeleteHave you seen the lil pumpkins made from circus peanuts and green gumdrops? I'm hoping to do a tutorial on my blog. I had to wait until I could find the peanuts. They generally surface for fall around here. I finally spotted them today, YEA:)
So happy you're safe and dry!
Have a *sweet* day!
Sara
GREAT job on your Halloween decorating! You are such an inspiration! Hugs, Maryjane
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your decorations!!! AND I love that wreath too! I wish the picture was bigger!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the candy corn garland. Too cute! I need to try and make something similiar to that for my vintage metal hanging chandelier. Your dining room table is so simple, yet adorable. The one little pumpkin on each plate is a neat little touch. You have an adorable fall inspired home. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI tried your Candy Corn Garland this weekend and only got like a foot done! It's not as easy as I thought it was going to be. I have a new appreciation for the beauty and length of yours. But I did discover that it seemed to work better when the corns were slightly stale. The ones that had been in a bowl on the table for a day and a half broke way less than the ones fresh out of the bag. So now I have a cookie sheet full of candy corn on my dining room table - driving my kids nuts with desire and going stale. I'll try again tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your blog, and LOVE it! I'm a craft junkie, too. Do you know the paint colors in your house? They look so nice, and we are trying to repaint. Could you post your colors? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteNice post

“Women really dress based on their body shape. For example, Herve Leger Dress I’m very athletic. I have bigger shoulders and bigger bust bandage dresses herve leger and smaller in the hip area. So when it comes to Herve Leger, Dirndl Dress for me it’s really about A-line dresses because it gives me a hip but minimizes me on the top.”While there’s no doubt that Lubov and her husband, Max, design for women everywhere, you can’t help but imagine her stamping Herve Leger Dresses a mini-claim on a certain white dress and capelet pair when it was in its early stages. It’s a look we can imagine every woman instantly coveting when it’s available in April.
