ReplyDeleteGlad you're back. We lost power for 27 hours last summer and I thought that was bad. We have a sump pump we had to keep running with the generator. Six days is a looong time.
ReplyDeleteWelcome Back my friend! We all have been so worried about you and your family. Rest up, wash up and let us know how you fared.
ReplyDelete~Connie

ReplyDeleteSounds like it could be a good one, like a modern day pioneer story gone bad. No electricity, no computer....... No nothing! Welcome back.
Thank goodness you all are okay! I've been thinking about and worrying about you! I cannot imagine what you have gone through over the past 6 days. Enjoy your electricity!
ReplyDeleteI am glad all is well!
ReplyDeletePraise God you and your family weathered the storm.
I just told my husband last night that I was worried about you... hope you did not have much damage. Glad you have power again. It was not too bad for us- lost power for 24 hours and a lot of tree damage.

Susie, glad to hear you have lights on and you are all okay. We got ours on Wednesday night and we had little damage. I posted a short video, but Ike has me worried if it keeps going the path it is taking. Going to pack this week just in case and leaving the boards on windows. Have you heard from Joyce? I hope she is okay. I keep checking every day as I did with you. Love and hugs, Pat
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are back! I kept checking all week and was so worried! So glad you are safe and have survived it all! Good luck getting things in order.
ReplyDeleteHey, Susie, glad you got the power back on! I figured you must be in the dark. My stepdaughter who lives in Baton Rouge, drove up here last Sunday & went back today. Her power was out & she said that most of the state was out for several days. She still doesn't know when she will get her power back, but luckily she can stay with her brother since college starts back on Monday.
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Rhoda

ReplyDeleteI'm soooo happy that you're back.
I was talking about you to my husband, telling him I was worried. Someone would have thought you and I were family if they'd overheard the conversation.
Isn't it incredible how blogland can make strangers into friends?
Can't wait to hear your stories!!!
Thank goodness! I've been holding my breath waiting for you to pop up after the storm.
ReplyDeleteWhen you get caught up and semi-back to normal, I'd like to talk to you about a custom tassel. My email is holley.holleym@verizon.net.

Holley

ReplyDeleteIt's good to see you back Susie. I can't wait to hear about it. We've been without power during ice storms, for many days. I know it must have been quite an experience for you and your family. I hope you didn't sustain damage from the storm!!

Glad that your ok & your home was ok! We are in Arkansas & had more rain than I've ever seen in 3 days! Even here in my town we had trees down all over & 10,000 without power. My daughter's school lost power as well. Daughter didn't mind that...she got 3 days off of school due to power outage.
ReplyDeleteI'm new to this blog community & just started my own blog...so please if you get a chance stop by & say "hi".

“Women really dress based on their body shape. For example, Herve Leger Dress I’m very athletic. I have bigger shoulders and bigger bust bandage dresses herve leger and smaller in the hip area. So when it comes to Herve Leger, Dirndl Dress for me it’s really about A-line dresses because it gives me a hip but minimizes me on the top.”While there’s no doubt that Lubov and her husband, Max, design for women everywhere, you can’t help but imagine her stamping Herve Leger Dresses a mini-claim on a certain white dress and capelet pair when it was in its early stages. It’s a look we can imagine every woman instantly coveting when it’s available in April.
