Bienvenue...


I finally got around to dressing my front doors for fall. White pumpkins and feathers....be still my heart!

Because of double doors I have to make two of everything. That can get $$$$.

As you know I dont glue so I can re..use.

I pulled out my Easter flowers and in goes the fall! I do use those green florist sticks. They are the best! You can get them at Walmart.

So this is what you see if you come to my front door...

Here are a few plaques that yall saw at my craft show. I listed these yesterday..

Thank you Lord!

This one reminds me of a barn you would see in Texas.. Love it!

I also added a few new tassels that I made yesterday..

This sweetie reminds me of Miss Shelia's baby Chloe Dawn and my Sister's baby... Max!

And last but not least... a Yorkie just like mine....

  4. Good morning Diane! I bought the pumpkins at WalMart and painted them white. The large ones were about 4.00 and the small were 1.00
    Not bad for two wreaths. I already had the feathers and I borrowed the moss from my tree. The wreaths themself are about 5 years old...they have seen some holidays! ...12.00 for both. Thats what makes my day!

  5. your wreaths are beautiful (so are the plaques and the tassles). I am not usually a Wal-mart fan but it has been a great place for fall projects this year. I purchased some fall ribbon there a few years ago that I loved and as luck would have it they had it again this year so I stocked up! Their pumpkin spice candles are also really good for the $.

    And yes. In my opinion, those words on the wall ARE hard to apply. The hardest part was rubbing the letters off the backing to the front(ing? lol) to apply them to the wall. Does that make any sense? It took my husband over an hour just to transfer it from one sheet to another. Nevermind how long it took to actually put it on the wall!

    The wreathes AND the plaques are beautiful! I also re-use everything. Florist's wire is my best friend...

    I'll have check out the local WalMart. I never think to go there as it is a bit out of the way. Looks like it could be worth the trip.

  27. ok-maybe I am a little slow-but I am wondering how you got those pumpkins to stay in the wreath with florist picks. Aren't they too top heavy? Please-could you tell me-I am a little confused. if I can avoid this feeling-I like too, cause I am like this alot!

  42. Ah, your double front doors are so beautiful. I also have double doors on the front and over the years have done lots of fun things on there. This is a persona OCD observation, LOL, so forgive me. It's one that I kinda wrestled with myself when I started doing things on my doors. Both of your wreaths are left handed. They are balanced on one side, the same side. I HAD to redo mine, make them match, look at each other. Am I the only dork that pays attention to that stuff? LOL

    The white on the black doors is beautiful and I'm counting the days until my rooster plaque gets to me from your Etsy shop. I think I swiped it from there before anybody else could even see it.

    Yeeehaaa for fall!!

    I love your wreaths, moss ball, tassels and your plaques. Nicely done! I made a tassel for myself and like it but had a question. Do you attach the item (bird, etc) to anything? I attached my fringe directly to it and it doesn't seem to look as "full" to me. Am I missing a tip? Thanks so much, sherry
