Our House....

Let the tour begin!!! This is our foyer. The sun was so bright it makes the walls look yellow but they are a soft golden color. This table changes daily so here is what it looks like today.

This is the other wall. I love this clock but had to turn the chime off. It was scaring all of Madisons friends when they spent the night..

This is a fun room to decorate for the seasons. When Madison was a baby I even put our Christmas tree in here to keep her from it.

That wreath that you saw on the wall. I bought it at the Royal Standard. It goes with every holiday. I just change it up a bit. Now it has a sweet bird perched in it.

I found this cloche at the ever so famous hobby Lobby... on sale!

What room is complete without it's own tassel. This one is huge and I love it.. I guess tommorow I will take you to the next room... What room will it be?...

  2. Oh Susie, your foyer is lovely! The rounded top double entry doors, your antique(?) clock, your tablescape, all beautiful and all beautifully arranged. I've been attracted to square wreaths and have been thinking I'd like to try my hand at fashioning one from a cast off frame. And of course I love the Hobby Lobby cloche. So looking forward to seeing the rest of your home!

  5. You teased us by just the foyer. How fun was that already. I can't wait for the next around the bend at Susan's house. I adore the table and lamps. It is all stunning. And the tassel has a nice "thanks for coming" feel to it. Great job for sure.

  16. I really love that square wreath! I've been looking for a mirror to hang above my foyer table but maybe a wreath will work (it does for yours!) I was right to be exicted about this home tour, you have such great taste and I love your style. Is the dining room next? Hmmmmm.

  38. I think it will be the...kitchen next right?? HA!
Or is my mind just STUCK on kitchens right now???
I saw those wreaths at the R.S. and nearly bought one a couple of few months ago. But didn't! It looks great where you have it. Love it.
The Cloche is SO cool......great color. I saw them at Hobby Lobby too but I am so about out of room. I have to get RID of something or move it into a closet. Igh.

My foyer is much skinny'er than yours. HA! I also liked how BRIGHT your's is. Mine is not as bright which I really like...that sunshine is very nice to me. Your doorways help bring that in so much and that is great especially in the winter time or on those drear Louisiana days we have.

I'll be checking back to see what room is next.....
    Be blessed my friend,
    Joyce
