Madison turns eight....

Today I'm getting ready for Madison's birthday party. I cant believe that eight years ago I looked like this...

She came one month early and weighed exactly six pounds..

Just perfect!.... looking back at these pictures not only remind me of her and her birthday but of my best friend Misty. I remember her and I waiting weeks to get this scrapbook stuff so we could both make these scrapbook pages. Those were some fun days. I cherish all of those sweet memories...

Now eight years later she is taller... sassy...and oh so loveable...

Yesterday I spent all day making new tassels for my shop. I have a few listed and will list some more soon. For now Im on birthday mode... House full of little girls.... how sweet the sound!

  2. She is soooo beautiful!!!! Lexi is 9 and each year it is so hard to believe she is getting that big. My memories always come flooding back cause we had fertility issues and I never thought I would have a child.

Hope you and your daughter have a fabulous party today and you know you might need to wear the earplugs, depending on how many little girls there are....lol

  18. Like mother, like daughter, both lovely! Happy Birthday Madison, may your day be filled with love, laughter, and lots of presents!!!

I hate that I didn't get to post birthday wishes earlier but I had to be in at work early and overslept from working late the night before :( I always feel like I'm missing everything when I don't get to stop by in the morning, lol

  23. Susie, Madison is beautiful. Tell her I wish her a very Happy 8th. Took a tour of your backyard----Al paints Santas on cypress knees and the lady who gives them to him, hasn't lost a tree yet, but then she has hundreds along the banks of the river. Have a fun day. Hugs, Pat

  24. She is beautiful! Doesn't it seem like yesterday you were changing her diapers? I have an 8 year old son and I just can't believe the years have sped by SO fast! I tell him all the time I'm going to put a brick on his head and make him stop growing. He gives me a smirk and reminds me that it won't work. Yeah, well a mother can try! :)
