Love love love it! Miz Susie, please come to my home and fix me up! Your home tour has been so much fun, each room has been a treat for the eyes and I've gotten loads of ideas for my own home. You have great taste and lovely style. So many of your things are things I would have chosen for myself, we could get into serious trouble shopping together! Thanks for the wonderful tour, it's been a treat and a pleasure. Have a blessed day!
ReplyDeleteOnce again - another great room. Can't wait to see how you transform it.
ReplyDeleteToo many favorite things to list so let's just say "all of it".
Thanks for sharing your creativity with us.
I can't wait to see what you do with the kitchen! It looks great as is, but I do love painted cabinets.
ReplyDeleteWish I could keep my fridge clean, but it is pretty much used as a message center around here. I did clean it up a bit not long ago, but it never lasts!
I really do love your kitchen! It is so cozy and inviting. Where did you find the magnetic curtain rod? That is too cool.....never have seen that before. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteBeth
Looks good already, but can't wait to see what you do with it. I'm sure it will be great.
ReplyDeleteNow I know why I love you. I HATE CLUTTERED FRIDGES TOO. I keep mine nice and shiny and black and NO PAPER. Ugh..I can't stand it. I have a couple of those canisters you have on your counter that look just like that only I use them in a vignette in my family room. I never thought to put tassles on them. I think I need to do just that! Can't wait to follow the makeover!
ReplyDeleteOh, you are doing a kitchen to. I'll just wait on yours. You have a lot more to work with though.Ha Ha Ha. I don't think I can wait. You have a great room and I love those curtains.
ReplyDeleteYour suggestions were great and I so appreciate them. What color would you paint the appliances?
Blessings~~~
Of course the kitchen is beautiful as is. I have a much older house with absolutely UGLY kitchen cabinets,so yours now is even much better than mine. I can't wait to see the re-do. I do like that window area at the sink. Great for the ivy. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteJackie
Very nice! I love the metal holder on the counter holding the asparagus! :)
ReplyDeletehugs, Rhonda
Susie! We love your blog too! Thanks for visiting ours! I just ordered the Large Pumpkin Tassle from your shop and I cannot wait to see it.

Beautiful! You did a great job on your curtains.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your pot rack! I've never seen one like it before. Can't wait to see the after pictures.
You SEWED curtains? I remember way back when I used to do that too! :o)They look great. Will you reuse them in your makeover?
ReplyDeleteThat rooster lamp has me weak in the knees!
Have fun painting your cabinets...hee hee! What color are you doing them? Or do we have to "wait and see?"
Morning Susie Sweetness! Oh, I'm up and running and trying to catch up! Since I've missed a day, I had to go and tour your dining room and your kitchen. I'm so impressed - your home is lovely and you have little touches of you all over the place. Is that a little Chloe Dawn tassel I see in the kitchen! lol Can't wait to see what you do in here. It's so nice to see the delivery room where all your little tassels are born! I love that hutch! You found it at KMart!? Wow! I love how you decked it out too! Oh, you're making me want to go and spiff the house, but heck I'm painting! Be a sweetie and thanks for popping in to read Chloe Dawn's comments and she told on me!!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia :)
Can't wait to see what you do...love that pot rack...wish I had high enough ceiling to have one of those...
ReplyDeleteI love your kitchen. It is truly the heart of the home for many. Those curtains are beautiful. And that light that hangs in front too.
ReplyDeleteI love the backdoor area as well.
Way to go Susie.
Great room! Looking forward to the transformation! Love your rooster lamp and all your accessories!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Kim
WHERE did you find that magnetic rod?!?!? I need those for the french doors in our kitchen!!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the "new" kitchen. It already looks so good! I have your canisters in clear. I love those things.
I love the curtains! And the corner sink! And all your accessories! You've done a great job with this space...looking forward to more pics!
ReplyDeleteDiane
Good morning Susie, I love your kitchen even without the redo! I am so excited, I just ordered a tassel from you. I can't wait to get it. I had a thought...could you make some tiny ones to add to a key chain? Or would they not do well under all that handling? It is just a thought. Anyhoo, dear one, looking forward to my tassel fun!

I love the kitchen! I wished that my kitchen was that big! Mine is a little galley kitchen. You remember back when I posted pics of it being redone...It's still not done! Zack was suppose to do the cabinets for me because he was gonna sand and blah, blah, well I am fixing to break out the sander and get to working on them my self! If you want something done you gotta do it yourself!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the redo!
Love it! I have cabinets in the same color and can't WAIT to paint them. Only, that will never happen b/c dh is STRONGLY opposed. Maybe I can talk him into selling them and just BUYING new white cabinets at the architectural salvage yard.
ReplyDeleteokay i love it! and i'll watching for when you redo your cabinets ours are horrible! and am waiting to get the right motivational pictures!
ReplyDeleteOooo, are we painting soon?! I love these oak cabinets painted creamy white. What do you have in mind? I do think a pretty creamy white would look gorgeous. Great job on the window treatments.
ReplyDeleteI had that exact same light fixture in my foyer at my old GA house. Great minds think alike!
I love it! We just did our kitchen...I'm waiting for my husband to grout the back splash and I will post pictures...We re-faced the door and painted them and the cabinets a cream color. I was going to do an antique cappuccino glaze but changed my mind and just glazed the molding up top and the corbels at the bar and under the shelf at the sink...I'm real happy with the way it turned out....I'll be posting soon!
ReplyDeleteGreat kitchen space...I love the decorative piece that holds your seasonal things...Good idea!
I will have fun going out and buying new stuff to decorate my new kitchen...maybe when school starts I can find the time to do that LOL:)
Hi Suzie,
ReplyDeleteI have been lurking on your blog for several weeks now, and finally decided to leave a comment. I love your style! My home tends to be more the French country style to. I am very anxious to see how the painted cabinets come out. I am thinking that I will eventually do that to mine.
~~Liz~~
I love you kitchen! How are dong the cabinets? I want to paint mine too, but not sure if we will be here for more than a year or so. Do you think that is worth it? I can't wait to see what you do. Love the artichokes...item of the year!
ReplyDeleteSusie,
ReplyDeleteAs I have been checking out all your great rooms I have realized that we have some things in common... Nest, eggs, pears, birdcages and roosters! Oh yes, and beautiful tassels.
Love the kitchen!
Your kitchen is fab. Oh and that rooster lamp is a beauty. I also love the window at the corner. Can't wait to see what changes you make.
ReplyDeleteBlanca
Susie, your home is SO beautiful! I love it all! When you finish paintng your cabinets, will you come do mine? : )
ReplyDeleteI think your before kitchen is beautiful. Can't wait to see what you are cooking up for it. You always have beautiful ideas!
ReplyDeleteGreat job with those curtains Susie! I can't wait to see the rest of the story.
ReplyDeletePat
Just another example of your impeccable taste! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love your kitchen, so what's new, I love everything you touch...I love that iron basket so much, that I bought something similar today on clearance at Michael's! I also loved your lamp, so I got this lamp that I do not love out of the basement, and guess what? I still do not love it, but I do love the light that it gives off! So, it will do for now, but I have a lamp on my list of things to buy...now...what I no longer have on my list is a Ceiling Tin Fleur De Lis hanging...because I just bought it from your etsy shop!!! PS: Susie, from now on, whenever you buy something, just buy TWO and send me one, lol, it will save you the "Where did you get that?" question from me ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a great day :)
I just found your blog today by way of the other lovely "Southern Somedays" and I am so glad I did. Your home is just lovely. Please let us watch your painting project in the kitchen step by step as I have one in my future and to say I am intimidated is an understatement!
ReplyDeleteThat pot rack makes me swoon...
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your refinished cabinets!!
Elise
Can't wait to see your room re-do! So many favorite items!
ReplyDeleteI'm new to your blog and would love to see how you've made all your items. I'm going to have to browse your blog posts. :)
Thanks for the ideas!
Our kitchen cabinets are dark & we want to paint also.
ReplyDeleteLove this kitchen. Can't wait to see what you do. Your tassels are beautiful!!!. Thanks for stopping in on my post. I have just been doing little stories to enertain...Kathy
ReplyDeleteAnother room well decorated. I like all your decorations (love the rooster lamp!) and again the special pieces (family picture) you have placed throughout each room. Totally agree with you about the fridge. It does make a big difference not to have clutter on it.
ReplyDeleteI wish you could help me with my living area.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I left you something on my blog.
WOW! as always :)
ReplyDeleteLove the corner window! I've always been partial to those.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a clutter free fridge, but my little ones would be very sad not to have their magnets out!
~ Sarah
I love rooster lamps! i don't think that a country kitchen is complete without one. Mine is smaller than yours, but it still does the trick. I am going to do a kitchen redo as well. I have the same colored cabintes. I hate them too! I am going to paint mine a cream, and then go over them a gel stain. I might-maybe- put beadboard in the middle of the cupboards. Depends on if my hubby likes me that day or not. I want to paint my table as well. i really want to paint my chairs a differnt color than the table, what do you think?
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love your kitchen too. I can't wait to see the cabinets when you do a make-over cause I am ready to do something with mine! Cute rooster lamp and of course, everything else in your kitchen.
ReplyDeleteSeriously it's all amazing! And your last post with your brightest room, I wanna move in! Do you hire out? ;)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your cabinets done. I'm sure it will be awesome.
Adore the little bird avery near your kitchen sink! And the rooster lamp - which is surprising that I like - I HATE chikens - but love them when they aren't made of feathers/beaks, etc...
ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful house! I'd take your kitchen just like it is. I love it!
ReplyDeleteFun fun!! My mom has those magnet curtain rods for her french doors - they are so cool.
ReplyDeleteWe have the same color cabinets with white appliances. I have been going over and over in my mind how to change the look and upgrade (want granite!) without outpricing ourselves in the real estate market...
I made an art work holder after I saw your first post about it and I LOVE IT! It keeps my fridge door cleaner and now I don't have to feel guilty about throwing away art...I can keep it AND display it! Thanks for the creative idea!
ReplyDeleteI somehow missed this room. Your kitchen looks so lovely. Please tell me that it gets messy and your dishwasher is always full and that there are crumbs on the floor.
ReplyDeleteThe curtains are so pretty. You did a great job. I'm thinking that my kitchen will be my next project. I'm ready for something different and you've given great inspiration, as always.
-- Brandi
Oh! This is so nice! I am renovating my kitchen and have been so inspired!!!
ReplyDeleteQuestion for you....do you ship your tassels to Canada? I live in Southern Ontario and would like to buy one if you ship up here.
Okay, every room in your house is wonderful! I really like the color of your walls. Great curtains too! You've inspired me to go clean off my fridge :D
ReplyDeleteIt looks so good now--can't wait to see what else you do in there. How fun. I'm enjoying your tour so much, Susie! -Julia

Very good post to remember that these emails are still circulating, in addition to the advice you indicate, they are always very useful to take into account, in principle for all Internet users, but mainly for the less experienced, or seniors who are discovering the Internet and out of ignorance or fear of having their email account closed, agree to include their data, with the disastrous consequences.
